Just checking in :smiley: how was everyone’s day? Day 8 for me and all in all it was a good day. Some lightheadedness and low energy. Tried the salt dip thing and I felt a little better…definitely better than trying to drink salt water :laughing: 16.2lbs gone so far :clap:t3: Food didn’t phase me until about 30 minutes ago. But the thoughts came and went. Hope everyone is doing well :two_hearts:

Good Day 4 completed of my 3rd 21-day fast of this year. Body has achieved metabolic flexibility so every time I do this it gets easier and easier meaning less frequent and intense hunger pangs, no cold spells or headaches during the 3-day transition etc. However, not looking forward to the inevitable detox sessions when I start digging into the decades-old visceral fat!

I’ve started on Day 11… Yeeehaaa !!! 10 more days to go I am feeling better, mentally strong, but physically tired. I forced myself to do some cleaning. I had sleep trouble, woke up around 3++am, couldn’t sleep n eventually went back to sleep; I know this is common while fasting.

When I started this journey, my biggest struggle was food food food. But that’s, not the case any more though I wish I had more energy. My weight loss has slowed down, but that’s ok. I’m very close to my GW. They said the hardest is to lose the last few kgs. And the journey continues.

Keep the updates coming all and stay on track.

Hi everyone. I am starting my day 10. No hunger. Just more tired, specialy today when I woke up I just wanted to keep sleeping. My heart pressure is still fine, that’s a relief. I sleep very well. Because I am working from home, after my journey I go to my bed and rest a bit. My body begs me!!! Now I am not losing much weight. But I am glad to achieve day 10 and have no stomach pain like the other fast. So, let’s go!

Hello faster! I hope you’re well and enjoying the good weather we’re having in Manchester. I’ve been up to my eyeballs last few days. The tiredness is creeping in now yet I’m on my feet all day long chasing after the kids, cooking, baking, cleaning, doing laundry, taking the lil ones for walks… phew. I was seriously contemplating breaking my fast last night. For some odd reason I was desperately craving white chocolate. But the few things I promised myself at the start got me back on track. I don’t want to break my fast because of food. I once read in a book about self-discipline that when you think you’ve reached your breaking point you’ve actually reached only 40% of your strength. So here I am on day 11. 10 days to go. Yay :grin:

DAY 8!
The beauty of starting my fasting in the evening is that when I wake up I am already half way through my fasting day, and why would you give up half way through your day. And at 9 pm when I finish my day, I think, ā€œI’ll just sleep and see how I feel tomorrow.ā€

I trust everyone is doing well and hopefully soldering on if you feel well enough.
I have completed day 10, and plan to keep going for as long as I am able to. The only thing is a weird funny taste in my mouth for quite a few days now. Not sure how to get rid of it. Any knowledge or ideas is welcome. Stay blessed everyone. :muscle:t5:

Keto breath? Caused by the keytone acetone. The only thing is scrapping the tongue, brushing the teeth and/or using mouthwash.

It was an issue for me near the end of my 40-day. I seem to tamp down the worst of it with a morning cup of coffee and a herbal tea. Just had my first incident with it this morning. Ugh.

Will brush my teeth and scrape my tongue again before going to bed.

Thanks, I have brushed my tongues quite a few times. It is not smelling, also had coffee earlier but the taste is still there. But coffee makes the taste a bit better. I don’t see anyone so I don’t have to worry in case it smells. I will just have to put up with it I guess. Thanks for the quick response. I use charcoal toothpaste as well as normal toothpaste as it takes away toxins etc, so maybe you could try that as well.

I’m checking the forum frequently due to fact I use it as a study break. Will be so glad when the exam is over which is tomorrow.

Day 9
Worst day yet :frowning: Ordered kettle and fire bone broth that will arrive on Friday. I am feeling so much hunger but I will at least wait til Friday when the bone broth arrives. Lack of energy, lightheadedness and just feeling sad about food right now which as I’m typing sounds funny but it’s the truth :grimacing: :woman_shrugging:t3:

Oh dear, @Cassandra_G hopefully it will get better before your bone broth arrives and you might continue a bit longer. The hunger comes and go. Make sure you have your supplement it might make things easier for you. Whatever happens, you have done great to last this long…be proud of your accomplishment. Just keep saying to yourself that you will be able to carry on, soon you will believe it - its what I have been doing. Keep updating when you can, it’s good to chat with others. Blessings.
