Hiya, I decided to have a small keto meal and it’s day :one:.
I am not meeting with friends on sat the 12th as planned so I will be fasting. Which is good news because we would have had wine as well as carbs probably. At least we keep getting back on. I will check in tomorrow :muscle:t5::pray:t4:

I had a bulletproof coffee in the morning. I read that Vitamin D is best absorbed if taken with fat. So the best possible option during fast would be to have D3 with Bulletproof coffee.
I loved the bulletproof coffee (1 cup hot water, coffee, 2 tsp ghee, 1 tsp coconut oil). It tastes so good. I had it for the first time.

Because I’m seriously deficient in vitamin D I will be doing a Bulletproof coffee- water fast wherein I will be taking one bullet proof coffee a day along with D3 supplement.

Other things I will be consuming will be
water, ACV, Lemon, coffee, decaf coffee, NAC, Multivitamins, electrolyte water

Excellent! I take D3 and k2 everyday with cod liver oil capsules that is my fats.
You have to do what works for you so I am glad you are trying out the bulletproof coffee.
I am allergic to the sun so D3 is always needed no matter what the weather is.

There is a sun lamp called a sad lamp, it is good for vitamin d as well as taking your supplement. I will get this one from Amazon this month. I have looked through the list of sun lamps on there. It has lots of other benefits as well, I have included the link in case you are interested.

No worries, we keep going and it’s all good. I will have a refeed on Sunday night and restart on Monday, you can join me if you want or continue? I might have a small refeed tonight Thursday night and jump back on, I will see how I feel when the time comes. All the best :pray:t4:

Yes. I will also refeed on sunday and restart on Monday.
From monday I want to fast for 21 days. It seems more difficult the second time.

Yes, it gets more difficult sometimes not sure why. Do you think we should refeed over a few days by doing low carb to get ready? Or do you think Sunday’s refeed will be enough? I got to the 13th-day water fast in December, and wouldn’t mind going that long and giving it my best try as well. What do you think @Mandy

I don’t want to give myself too many days to refeed. I can refeed till Sunday. That makes it 4 days of refeed. I can do keto 3 days and last day for all the food i love. 4 days will be good to mentally prepare myself for a long fast.

I will be checking out more videos from Finally fasting’s youtube channel and listening to Dr. Pradip Jamnadas, Dr. Jason Fung and Dr. Eric Berg. Will add the book Bulletproof Diet as well.

I’m lacking motivation. That’s partially because I get comfort thinking that I will lose weight whenever I want by fasting. There has to be deadlines so that staying committed to the goal becomes a compulsion and not a choice. With exceptional circumstances of course. What do you think ?

Over the weekend I’m going to be making a chart with targets. wherein I’ll be aiming to lose atleast 100 grams ( ~ 0.22 lbs) everyday.

What’s your plan?

I agree with you that it shouldn’t be a long refeed, til Sunday is fine and I plan to do omad or 20:4 most days so that I am not eating for a long period.
I also watch Dr berg when I can and finally fasting is encouraging also, Dr Jason Fung is excellent.

Setting weight loss targets doesn’t work for me and is out of control due to health reasons which I have mentioned previously,
I can fast and still put on weight even whilst fasting. I have partnered with people in the past who weighed for example 4 stones less than myself and they would still lose double the weight that I lose lol.

My main plan is to never give up and keep going, if I fall, I get back up. Seriously, I want to do the longest fast for the year so far. I have a wedding the last weekend in March to attend and would love to lose 30 pounds by then. I will weigh myself on Monday and see my starting weight and go from there.
Don’t be too hard on yourself, we will lose weight as long as we don’t give up.
Another plan is to use sauna blankets at least every other day and also I plan on cleansing my whole body, I bought some para protex which is in tablet form and I also do magnesium cleanse.
All this depends on energy levels though but I plan to do my very best. :pray:t4:

I never achieve the targets that I set nor do I push myself a lot to achieve them. I modify my targets (I usually use Excel sheet where target for next day = todays weight - intended weight loss for the day and I drag it down with dates until the day I reach my goal weight) Whenever I dont reach the targeted weight of the day, I modify it so that it still keeps me going and seeing projected weight loss keeps me motivated. Its like using stickers for each day.

You must be losing weight at low rate. On average, how you lose after 5 days of fasting? I wish there was some way to treat CFS. You are so determined and whenever you refeed, you start fast again. Its a pleasure to have a fasting buddy like you! I really pray that your efforts are fruitful :pray:

Day 1:
Had a good refeed. Have prepared a schedule for everyday for workout and to keep myself busy.
Will be fasting for as long as I can this time.
