Still battling the ear infection, it’s a bit better, had a refeed and started again.
I will now do a 3 day fast and refeed on the 31st of Jan and start again. From the 1st of Feb, I will fast as long as possible then refeed and start back again.

How are you doing @Mandy?
You have been doing well.
I will check in on day 2.
All the best :pray:t4:

Day 5 completed

Hope you are feeling better now.
I will also refeed on 31st Jan. Will do an OMAD and start a long fast again.
I have reached 80.2 Kgs  will be in 70’s soon

I cant believe it!
Stared when I was 97kg now 80.Still a long way to go. Its not easy but this is our only chance.

I’m not hungry at all. Like if I see normal food I feel nausea and I’m extra sensitive to difference smells these days. But I crave for sugar a lot. I force myself to sleep early so that I dont think about cakes. I feel I’m not as dependent on sugar as I was earlier but It still is a problem during fasts. Does it happen with you too?

Will Check in tomorrow. Have a wonderful weekend

Well done so far @Mandy. It is a plan to refeed on the 31st and start again. I am not a big sugar person, but I do have my moment when it’s that time of the month. I just get hungry from time to time, but not really for sugar. Great job on your achievements so far, there is a lot more to come I am sure of this. :+1:t4::pray:t4:

Maybe try some apple cider vinegar for cravings. Also, I take an NAC supplement it is good for any addictions and has lots of other benefits also, is very good for breathing issues, covid prevention, balances blood sugar.

Check out the above link also check out a few YouTube videos as some explain it better.

It is good for general well being as well, so I think it is a keeper for me. I haven’t been taking it long, I will be upping my dosage as well, can take between 600mg to 2000 so I will be doing 1800 to see the benefits. :pray:t4:

Day 0:
Started Day 1 after yesterdays dinner.
I’m aiming for 5 kg weight loss in feb. Want to reach 75 by the end of this month.
If i fast regularly, without any break for 21 days It will be easily achieved. So aiming for atleast 21 day fast.

Hope you are doing well!
February will be a great month.

That’s great!
I know you will achieve your goal.
We will encourage each other all through this journey.
I will be starting after dinner 31st of Jan
I don’t tend to lose weight after day 10 so for me having a quick refeed works well on a long fast, others have said after day 14 weight stops for a week or so. I hope to do at least 10 days and refeed and 10 days again and so on.

I will check-in after I start. All the best to both of us:pray:t4::pray:t4:

Hope you enjoyed your meal before the fast!

Weight loss slows down after initial 7 days.
Its very fast in the first week so it gets our hopes very high and then it plateaus and slows down. If we are prepared for slow weight loss it becomes easier. Otherwise we get disappointed
I now only look at it as energy that will help me achieve my all goals. As long as I have excess fat, its a sign that I need to up my skills and theres room for more improvement. Seriously, picking up a skill, language, art, books, etc really helps navigate through fasts.

Day :two:,

So far it has been fine, but after the first day, it tends to get more difficult for the next few days. I believe I have mentally prepared myself and will succeed :pray:t4:.

I trust you are doing well @Mandy
Wishing you the best for this week and beyond. :pray:t4:

Day 2 Completed
I’m feeling better.
Read a few articles on the internet about 40 days fasting. Very Inspirational. Not hungry anymore. All headaches are gone. Very motivated to fast longer.
Sometimes I feel are all the symptoms mental? They are not there when we are driven.

I hope this helps.
This time we will complete more than planned days of fasting.

Thanks for the information :page_facing_up:. Matcha green tea is very good for suppressing appetite and excellent for fat burning too. It’s better than black coffee because you can have a few cups a day and is extremely low in caffeine. Research it for yourself it has other benefits as well.

I have never tried matcha. Dont know whether I’ll like it. But if i gets me off coffee I would definitely give it a go. I tried decaf earlier. Didnt really like it.
Will be trying matcha soon. Thank you for the suggestion!
