Glad you are on board. I find that fasting is different every time. Sometimes I find it quite manageable and then at other times it seems impossible to last 2 days lol. The buddy system will help. I want this year to be the year of results and know you want the same also.

Day has started for me
Day 1/100
This time my goal is to lose atleast 5 kgs before breaking the fast…The more the better.

Day 2/100
I am doing well. Day one went well. Was hungry in the the beginning but controlled a lot . Not hungry today
How did it go for you?
The same for me, some hunger here and there, coping so far. I tell myself if I don’t eat nothing bad will happen and my body will eat itself.
I keep telling myself that my fat is my plus point. Its super fuel which will help me achieve all my goals and it ( me achieving my goals) will happen only if I use that super fuel.
So I dont look at it as something unwanted. Its a strength that is going to propel me into something I desire to be.
Ive written down a dozen of goals I have set for myself. It includes developing some skills, studying some topics, yoga, etc.
Day again, unfortunately, I will never give up. I have an ear infection and have had lots of dizziness so decided to refeed and jump back on. So sorry @Mandy. How are you getting on? Wishing you the best. I will check in again after day 2. It’s not easy fasting especially when very fatigued amongst other symptoms but no excuses, I am in this for the whole year and in 6 months we will both look very different.
Day 3
Ear infections can get really painful. Please take very good care of yourself and get well quickly.
Day 2 was good. Was very hungry but focused on other tasks to forget about hunger. It worked.
What we are doing is not easy. But we will be successful. Especially for you. I admire your fighting spirit. Keep it up. You will come out of it healthier.
Yes, it is painful, I have been getting it like every 2 months for a few years now.
Glad you finished day , it was a tough one for me. I want to get to the 31st of Jan and refeed omad and do a 10 day fast, and continue straight away, I don’t want to have breaks if possible.
We can do this, we have no choice but to succeed.

Ear infection is still painful but dealing with it. Taking it day by day. I will check in on day 3.

Ive started getting into smaller clothes. yipeee.!! You know it feels so good but theres a long way to go.
Feeling energetic. Will be starting to workout. Without workout I dont get a lot of motivation as I cross 5-6th day.
Hope your ear pain subsides soon. Are you taking any medication?
I remember before the pandemic, I had a terrible ear infection. I couldnt sleep. My ent gave me strong medications to help me sleep. Although it stopped in a weeks time but I can still remember the pain. I wouldnt have lasted a day into the fast with ear pain. you’re doing brilliantly!
Have you tried light exercises? like yoga? Theres a video on youtube by Sara Ivanhoe called “Yoga for Dummies” of 52 minutes. It has a set of 12 basic postures which really make a lot of difference. Even 3 - 4 counts of each will be sufficient.

I am not working out, brushing my teeth daily and bathing is working out for me lol.
I don’t get increased energy with fasting and have been fasting on and off since 2019 so I need to be extra careful as usual.
I will use my sauna blanket when possible as I can burn hundreds of calories and detox by laying in it.

I take natural supplements and don’t take meds, not good for me. Had to take strong meds on the 9th of Jan when I ended up at the A & E for intense shoulder pain, took it twice and left it lol.
My body is sensitive to lots of things. I am use to pain so I can cope with a lot before I complain. I just focus in the positives.
