Extended Group Fast - Starting March 1st!
64 hours in on day 3. I’m happy Yasemine told the truth about day 3 being difficult most of the times. I was expecting the worst, but so far, I feel really good. Yesterday I suffered from severe headaches, today is (touch wood!) going okay, no pain. No hungerpains either. Yes I feel hungry, I could eat, but I’m not in pain because of it… I expect it will be more difficult tonight though, when I make french fries for my kids!
Also glad Yasemin talked about the dizzyness when getting up too fast. My bloodpressure is on the low side sometimes, and this morning I got up too fast for my cat. I felt dizzy and quickly sat down again and thought…TURTLE-MODUS, woman, you’re a TURTLE from now on
Yes i have the same. Feeling a bit low and when i move to fast i feel dizzy. So taking it easy!

Pls pls pls have a teaspoon of salt in water first thing when you wake up and last thing at night. It really helped me. I stopped 2 earlier fasts because of blackouts. This time, the salt really helped
Yes I’m upping my salt intake and also the electrolytes. I ordered new ones from the internet and hope they arrive tomorrow!

Some days you’ll be super high energy, but typically for me just the standing up fast gets me dizzy, so a bit of “turtle-ing”
Everyone remember salt to replenish your electrolytes, don’t want anyone getting too dizzy and fainting or something!!!
So taking salt has made a big difference?
I have not taken any salt yet, then again my water intake is poor - perhaps 1 litre. I was getting overconfident yesterday (My day 5) saying this is too easy and I can go on forever, only for to feel force of discomfort today Serves me right!
Also, I am staying away from Sparkling water, all that gas affects my stomach. I stil have an upset tummy right now. Again my fault, drinking ice cold sparkling water first thing in the morning on a sensitive stomach.
My goal is to make it to Sunday 10 days I’d be very happy with that. Might not hit my 10kg target but I’d be atleast half way from the look of things.

I’m high on energy today! I just finished my day 3.
I went to work on my bike. I fixed my car. I did alllllll the laundy which was laying around for the whole week. I cooked for the fam (no bite or temptation to eat it). I am now thinking about what to do tonight to deal with the boredom of fasting…
I woke up at 3am with extreme hunger. I had some water with apple cider vinegar and waited it out. I felt so uncomfortable I was writhing around for an hour and a half before I could get back to sleep. I was very sluggish this morning and had trouble getting out of bed. Once I had some salt water and took a shower I felt a little better.
I’m also taking a teaspoon of nutritional yeast each morning. It’s something I look forward too and tastes like an indulgent treat

Day 2 is way done for me and am 43% on my third. I am very motivated, but struggling at times. Like tonite, while preparing some fajitas to my girls for dinner… But, I am holding strong. Food, you can’t control me!.. I control you!
