Checking in!!.. did a 30 min walking workout I followed on YouTube then abs and legs. On hour 22 of fasting. :smile:

Day 15 of what I hope will be a minimum 30 day fast. If I get that far and feel as I do now I may try to take down Compdude’s 40 day record!:smiley: I know I will still have excess weight I’ll want to get rid of at 30 days so…we’ll see how it goes.

I can’t resist anymore… Having severe diarrhoea and stomach ache… Eating a keto meal after a fast of 82 hours… Will start the fast again in the evening :cry::cry:

Hi!!! I’m checking in again. I’m at 36 hours in my water fast. I’ve added fresh lemon water for vitamin C. About to start my 30 min walking and workout. I’ve been creating a backyard oasis to enjoy once it warms up in Minnesota…

I wish I had found this forum on Sunday! Started a fast on Monday and broke it and have been struggling to get back on since then. Better late than never though! I will check here daily for motivation until I find an effective way to hold myself accountable. Any suggestions? I’ve seen a few people that have posted journals and pics, but haven’t gotten a chance to really explore.

There are several members that have completed fasts ranging from a couple of days to 40+. If you can share what you hope to accomplish with your fast maybe I can suggest a couple of member Daily Journals that best fit you.

I have no medical issues persay. Osteoarthritis in one knee and just a general concern that being 59 and obese was not a safe condition. Strong heart, normal bp, no smoking, little alcohol. Initially my plan was a 30 day fast based on being somewhat naive maybe on speed of weight loss, a sense at that time that beyond 30 days was almost impossible and a weight loss goal to get to 200 from current weight.

Now, having done far more research and being 16 days in and generally feeling ok through this, I intend to shoot for my optimum weight even if it takes longer than 30 days (which I know it will).

I suggest you read @Anna Daily Journal. Also are you under the care of a doctor for this as those with eating disorders are usually discouraged from fasting.

Checking in at day 4. Had an omad meal last night and now doing a 48 hour fast. I feel this method is helping me stay on track better. 48 hours fasting and OMAD every other day.

Hello I’m new here and starting a 10 day waterfast tmrw need to get back on track if I can handle it I might extend it for 15-20 days. I’ve done a one week waterfast few years back and decided to go for it again due to its benefits. Also decided to join here because I felt I needed more support and motivation wish me luck everyone!

Sounds like a good; especially in light if it being a few years. Did you do any prep before starting, like low-carb meals and or IF/OMAD?

I have started IF a while back and have been doing OMAD for several months now. There were times I would do Alternate day fasting where Id do a waterfast for a day, OMAD the next and IF.
