I just wanted to do a quick reminder that we don’t do any dry fasting in this group.
The main reason for this is that there are really no true benefits added that aren’t already being reaped by regular water fasting in comparison with the added risks involved.

“An absolute fast withholds both food and liquid. […] During that time, no food or drink is consumed during the period […] This makes an absolute fast [aka dry fast] much more physically difficult and limits the duration to fairly short periods. Absolute fasts are not generally recommended for health purposes. The accompanying dehydration confers no additional health benefits that compensate for the increase in difficulty. The risk of medical complications is also much higher with absolute fasts [aka dry fasts].”
