I don’t want to give up, for many reasons, and I desperately want this excess fat in my body to finally go. Thank you.
BonBon's Trip
This is the longest that I have ever fasted so far, 18 days and that means twelve more days to reach my goal of 30 days. Funny, but I still get tempted sometimes and have to fight the temptation. I want to reach my goal.
I have become very aware that when I am stressed, I want to eat, and anything will do. I was stressed today, Day #19, but I took a little pink salt before I left. Drinking seltzer water, zero calories, seems to help so I have been doing that and I like it.
Congrats on your progress. You, me and Emily_Oh are all within 2 days of each other. Pulling for you!
Well, today was Day #20 and so far, the longest I have ever fasted. Tomorrow will be three weeks. I will say that I thought of food sometimes today and had to put it out of my mind. It is really a “head game” and I want to rule my head and not let my emotions wreck everything that I have been working so far to achieve.
Funny, but my weight was up one pound today, but I am not worried, things are changing inside my body.
Yep. The ultimate test in willpower. Broke through a 3-day weight plateau today.
Congratulations! That is fantastic! I am working on and hoping that this fast will help me make new stem cells to renew the what my joints need to repair because of what arthritis has done to me.
This is Day #21 and I have been in a stall for two days, but I will continue on because I know the process will work given time.
I can sympathize. One of my medical conditions I’m looking to cure is gout/arthritis. Just remember to have healthy amounts of protein during the ReFeed to feed those stem cells. For more info look into Dr. Valter Longo’s work. He’s the Director of the Aging Institute at USC and is one of the leading authorities on Prolonged Fasting. Your pardon if I’m repeating stuff you already know I just want to make sure you have all the knowledge you need to be successful.
Thank you so much. I will check him out for sure.
Finally broke through a plateau today! It is Day 22, and I have eight more days to go to get to my goal. I do not want to quit now after all my hard work, although sometimes I feel like it.
Pulling for you! Keep it up!
Thank you for that. I also encourage you and hope you do write that book, I will read it.
Well, it is Day#23 for me and I was up a pound, but I am not worried because I know it fluctuates day to day. I only have seven more days until I am finished with this 30 day fast and I am looking forward to it. I am carefully planning my re-feed so that the progress continues.
I am in the “home stretch”, it is Day #24 and I have six more days to get to my goal. I was down two and one half pounds after a plateau. I haven’t been at this weight for a few years and I can’t believe it. I am still tempted, but fighting it.
Hang in there! Pulling for you.
Thank you. I wish the same for you.
Wow! That’s excellent. You are doing really great. You have got this.
Thank you! I am trying very hard like I never have before since I know that this will work.
Bonnie are you dealing with any detox issues like myself and Emily, especially since we’re pretty close to each other in terms of our progress on our respective fasts?
