So proud of you Bonnie what a great support you have to all of us !! Congratulations!
BonBon's Trip
The coated tongue, of course, and sometimes fatigue, sInce fasting, I have been very, very cold all the time. I get waves and waves of chills. It has gotten quite cold here in Michigan and it is very difficult for me to get warm, even with layers and warmer clothes. I take a teaspoon each day of psyllium husks and that seems to help with any elimination.
This is Day #25 for me, a place that I have never been before! I have five more days to go, can’t wait. It has been a struggle but workable.
It is true not to pay attention to the daily scale. Today is Day #26 and I am up a pound since yesterday, how strange is that after all that time fasting? After today, I have four more days until 30 and my goal, and I am excited about it.
Well, I made it to Day #28nand had to stop because I had to go to the hospital but not because of the fasting. A doctor’s assistant changed the script, gave me a double dose of a certain med thirty days ago and it accumulated and became very much like poison to my system and brought my blood sodium level down to 19, which is dangerous and had me fainting and falling, so it took them five careful days to bring it up. I am getting stronger now and was able to properly refeed on days 29 and 30, so it turned out to be a success. I am happy with my weight loss and will continue with OMAD and Keto and do shorter fasts until I lose about forty more pounds.
Bonnie. How did you manage thise 28 days with the pills making you weaker?
I meant to say that my blood sodium level was 119. I had a difficult time because I was getting weaker and then on Sat.the 16th. I fell in the public library and could not get up on my own, two guards to help me and then when I felt better I drove home and when inside, I fell again and could not get up by myself because my strength was all gone. I called 911 and they lifted me up off the floor and drove me to emergency at the hospital where I stayed until Wed. evening.
wow! It just shows you how important sodium is to the body! I am so glad that I was 63 pounds lighter than I was in February since it was easier for me to be moved and helped. I am still very motivated to get rid of the extra fat on my body, especially since I know how to do it with I F , Keto, and OMAD.
Glad to hear you survived your health incident. I counted you and Emily my fasting buddies since we were on the same level of progress on our fasting journeys for so long.
Thank you Compdude. I lost almost five pounds in the hospital and have kept it off. Getting my strength a little more everyday and I can drive on Monday.
I will be doing something very similar to what our fearless leader is doing for December, I will be switching it up and going to take several days of water fasting, OMAD Keto days, Beef and butter fast for 3 days, water fast again for three days, fatty fish fast for three days, Water fast for three days and etc. I will see how it goes and keep my body guessing. It certainly will not be boring. Come on December!
I am so grateful that December is here as November was most difficult and a health challenge when I almost died because a physician’s assistant doubled up a script for a water pill and I lost sodium in my body and was fainting and falling down and had to spend five days in hospital to get balanced out. I am feeling better and doing my plan of OMAD, water fasting, various fasts and not stressing out. I am looking forward to the New Year with anticipation and excitement and I have not been at this weight for many years and I know, without a doubt , that I will reach my goal in 2020. I am grateful for this forum.
Welcome back, Bonnie!
Thanks, Compdude. You are almost there, to your next goal. It won’t be long now and I pray that all goes well. Hope your strength and vitality comes roaring back.
I’m glad you’re doing better now, that must have been a scary experience
I hope December will be a much better month for you!
Thank you Anna. I hope that you are progressing with your plan. This month is good for me and I am glad to be alive. I am working on a whole new attitude for December since it is such a gloomy month in the North.
