Bethy's 2025 fasting success

Today I got dehydrated after hiking so my cravings, especially for salt and carbs went through the roof. Despite that I am proud of the fact that I have lost ten pounds since New Year’s! I have twenty more to lose. I’ll be on the money tomorrow- just tomorrow. I will water fast- just tomorrow… It will be a success one moment to the next, one struggle at a time.

I’m using “Zero”.

I’m fasting despite all the sugar surrounding me at work today. Goals are too important.

Still fasting! When I get home from work I know I will get hit with a lot of temptations but they won’t phase me because I have decided to change today.

I broke my fast at noonish today. I ate up to maintenance calories. It wasn’t my plan to eat but I did. I will just start over again. I started the timer at 5 pm today. I WILL give this my best shot, hunger and all. I’ll be back tomorrow with a successful report! I set my timer for seven days. I have some six days a few years ago. So here I go again. May God bless my efforts.:pray:

I fasted clean for about 24 hours. Then I ate a boiled egg and a handful of nuts. I think I can just ignore it and call it a crutch. Tomorrow I will remember to sacrifice my hunger better- just wait and let the hunger subside, stay busy, offer it to God.

I did OMAD for the celebration today. It was all very healthy and yummy. I started fast again at 4 pm.


I’m going in for the long haul. But tomorrow I will just focus on completing my to do list and fast for that one day. Baby steps=success

Look here Elizabeth - you decided to fast today. You have plenty of fat reserves. You do not need to eat right now. You only ate because you wanted to taste food - it’s your addiction.
No more! Food does not control you anymore. You decide now and each moment to put it out of your mind until it truly is necessary for you. You have twenty lbs to lose until you actually need to eat. In the meantime, your body needs the cleans. Let your body feast on the toxins in your extra battery packs. Embrace the discomfort. Sacrifice and become a new person.

To encourage myself, I did water fast-from 1 pm yesterday till 2 pm today=25 hours! I have been building my fasting muscle. My bump to overcome now is just my regular insulin spike/ hunger because of my regular meal around 2 pm. I should succeed tomorrow because I am determined to fast just one day and also because my sister will be visiting and she will be fasting as well! Cheers to success tomorrow!

I fasted on Friday. I did omad yesterday and 2md today. I started the fasting timer at 3 pm today. Here I go again! Chug that water!

I have been fasting since 2 pm yesterday! Tomorrow is day two!!! Be tough. Get hungry. Get tired. Get cold. Hang in there. Drink lots of water. Do not give into temptation, no matter how minor. Day two I always crave chocolate and well anything because my body is hungry, cleansing, and the fat is crying. Let it scream. I am letting it go bye-bye forever.

I broke my fast Friday afternoon, small and 0 carb. I ate normally on Saturday and started the fasting timer Saturday at 9 pm. I’m still hanging in there. The headache is real right now.

I’ll be fasting again today.

I did a 25 hour fast. I am going to shoot for a 48 hour fast next.

I am 26 hours into my 48 hour fast! I’m just getting work done and drinking lots of electrolytes.
