Bethy's 2025 fasting success

I broke my fast for my sister’s birthday. It was a very healthy and controlled refeed. I’m back to fasting again this evening at 7:30. I’ll see you tomorrow at 7:30 pm for my 24 hour fasting update. I’m dropping the weight fast which works best for me.:hugs:

I ate lunch. 🫤 I’m back to fasting now. I broke my fast because I didn’t review my reasons why and embrace the discomfort. I will tomorrow.

I gave myself an excuse and did some unnecessary cooking for my family ( I just wanted to munch too). I broke down just three hours before my fast completed. I restarted the timer at 4:45. Tomorrow I will just focus on embracing the discomfort each moment when the “low” feeling comes on.

I’m barely hanging in there. I really want to eat. But I only have a little over two hours to hit 24.

I have been battling a bug of some kind. So I had some raw cashews, banana, vitamins and elderberry juice with honey. I’m feeling down that I didn’t fast but I honestly don’t know that it is better that I didn’t. Anyway I am back to fasting now at 4 pm.

I’m at it again! Just start over. Focus just on one day at a time. That is how I succeeded with the last 3 day fast.

Today was definitely a fast, but imperfect. I ate a few bites of meat and a handful of cashews. Tomorrow will be a perfect fast because my reasons why are VERY important to me and those I love. I’ll call it a “transition day” and stay out of the kitchen tomorrow. Just DO it finally. I did over three days last week so I know I can do it again.

I am still fasting! It’s usually hardest for me at lunchtime. But my why’s are sooo important. I’ve definitely got this.

Love this. Thank you for tracking all your progress, even your “set backs” (I don’t believe in failure, I believe in lessons learned and knowledge gained). Your determination and honesty with yourself is very encouraging!!

Still fasting! I put honey in my coffee and had two bites of chocolate- naughty naughty. But I’ll just ignore it and keep going. I feel awesome today so I must have broken into ketosis.

I broke my fast. 🫤 I’ll be on track tomorrow. My problem often is either not embracing the headache, drinking enough water, tasting while cooking, or thinking about my long time fasting goal in stead of one day at a time. Last time I succeeded with a long fast I just focused on one moment/ day at a time. When I think of a long fast I waver and chicken out.
