Bethy's 2025 fasting success


Here is my fasting/ meal plan for this month. I’ll be checking off each day as I go.

I fell off plan again… But I’m not giving up. I’m back to it tomorrow with more focus.

Good morning! :sunrise_over_mountains: I going to get really hungry today and love it! I’ll keep gulping down more and more water. I’ll let my fat cells cry as loud as they like. They are melting away forever.

Way to go, Temple. Yasemin suggested putting Stickers on a calendar so you see where you are. I did that (21 of them) and moved the sticker to the “winner’s Column” before bed. That works. I also counted Weekends, rather that days. That worked great for me. I couldn’t take One bite, or. like you, it cascaded downwards. So, I would have a sip of my husband’s diet soda. That was a cheat I allowed.The stickers were a great motivation for me. Keep moving forward. Be kind to yourself. Great job!

I allowed myself to waver at lunchtime. I then ate dinner as well - 800 calories total. I am disappointed in myself for wavering. I realize how much I allow my emotions and hunger to dictate my actions despite my better judgement. I know I have no need to eat tomorrow. I am up for the battle again tomorrow.

I did really well all day but snitch just a little this evening. It was so minor that I will still call it a fast and do better tomorrow.

Well I gave in this morning and ate breakfast. I fasted for the remainder of the day. By 10 a.m. tomorrow it will be a full 24 hours. Then I will start day two.:sweat_drops::sweat_drops::sweat_drops::ocean::cup_with_straw:

Day one done! Day two is in the works. I’m drinking lots of water and tea.

I’m back again! I have maintained my weight of 138 for the past month. I am ready to break it and drop some more. By 1 pm tomorrow I will have completed day 1 of fasting! I may do some bone broth to carry me through the afternoon till bedtime. My goal weight is 118 lbs because I am a small person and know in past that I felt really good at that weight. I have braced myself for all the temptations that I know will come, but I am focused and ready to bite the bullet and not allow for any excuses. Here goes! Let’s see how fast I burn the extra fuel!!! Drink water, tea, and take vitamins.

I’m nearly 29 hours into my fast! I had a few cups of chicken stock to carry through dinner time.

I’m over 44 hours in! I’m feeling so good and so excited! I am doing this!

I’m almost 50 hours into my fast. I am just focusing on one day at a time.

I’m still going! This is amazing!!! I passed up a delicious and very healthy dinner with my family. It was a little trying but my mindset is changing and I am really not actually hungry. This is an amazing break though for me! I have been “trying” for sooooo long and now I am finally doing it! I simply focus on just one day at a time. Also I review my reasons frequently, and try to foresee any temptations before they present themselves so I am not taken unawares. I am now 53 hours into my fast. :heart:

I’m over 80 hours into my fast now! Other than being cold I feel great!

It will be 4 fasting days for me by 1 pm!! I’m so pumped. The weight is just disappearing!
