Hi. I am starting my day 6. Yesterday was ok. Like today I woke up with some acidity in my mouth but as the day went by it passed. Hope that today Will feel the same because on my water fasting for 10 days it was horrible, even taking ACV, and I had to quit.
I don’t feel very tired now but my energy is not on the ascending way for now.
I drink coffee, herbal tea and water. I am taking some suplements (vitamin d plus k2; vitamine c, and at night mangnesium with potassium). Sometimes I take some sea salt, but only when I feel a litle tired). Everyday I am having bowl movements but liquidish and very dark.
Ony 2-3 days I had an headache but after that ok. I still feel some waves of hunger, but I drink water and it goes away. Till now i Lost about 5 kg (11 lb) so I think I have to continue doing what i’m doing for now.
I hope you all are doing fine too!

I Guess is because I have a lot to lose (for my height 161 cm and my kind of body, and age 47, I would like to go to at least 65 kg, so I’m hoping to achieve an healty status after the fast so I continue my journey with more health and consistency. But for now is one day at a time). :pray:

I’m still fasting. Half way through day 7. Feeling sleepy and a bit tired today. It’s funny I have no appetite. Water tastes metallic so I’m adding a squeeze of lemon which makes it much more pleasant. Anyway, that’s one week down two more to go.
How’s everyone doing?

Day 5 :smiley: I think this is my ā€œget over the hillā€ day for food cravings upon waking up. Less dizzy, drinking some black coffee right now actually the bitterness is tasting sweeter and sweeter everyday :yum:Feeling like I can keep going! A word of encouragement today:
No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.ā€ Hebrews 12:11 I know not everyday will be as unenjoyable as quoted and there’s going to be hills and valleys, peaks and lows in this fasting journey but take heart! I know the Lord is with me and continuing to give me strength through the Holy Spirit! I pray everyone have a peaceful day and continue fighting the good fight for your body! :two_hearts: keep going! Hey all…good to see we’re still going strong. Great job everyone.

I’m halfway through day 6 and feeling good. Just did 30 minutes of Yoga. Yesterday I intended to update the group, but I fell asleep again. I was a little less energized toward the latter half of the day so I needed to rest. I’m hoping I start feeling the burst of energy everyone talks about. I get the feeling my energy is down because I stopped my coffee and I’m on my cycle. I’m pushing through though and hope I can make it all the way.

I started watching the documentary @Salva mentioned. What I saw was very informative and eye-opening about the western medical industry. It did encourage me to keep going seeing all the effects that fasting had on so many illnesses. I’m going to complete the documentary later on this evening.

Yes Im still fasting but I feel so weak. My vision is blurry, my limbs are tired, and its kinda hard to breath. There is good news, Ive lost 7 pounds in 6 days/136 hours.

Im on my way to a job interview. I hope I can put my best foot forward in this state of being. The position is in a kitchen. If I get the job i will have to break my fast if my energy levels dont come back. I hope they do.

So happy to see all of you staying strong. I am so proud of myself for making it to this point.

Well done! You are doing great. Drink lots of water and some electrolytes. Quite fatigued myself but I will continue. Also, try and have a cleanse, maybe a saltwater flush or something else. It is important to get the toxins out of the body otherwise, we will feel more ill. All the best.

I’ll be completing Day 7 in a few hours. Phase 1 completed. 2 more rounds of 7 days, a big task ahead but I’m feeling very hopeful I can do it. Just that I’m not engaging in any physical activity, so that adds to the boredom, I only do stuff that I can just sit and do :joy_cat::joy_cat: oh well that’s ok I’m not going to push myself too hard.

Keep going all, and we are getting there :fire::fire::+1::+1:

Today it is my 20th day of water fasting.

It was not planned at start. I was on low carb diet and it happened that I worked for two days from morning till night w/o meal. It was good opportunity to try fast. VoilĆ !

I do not measure weight. I have at least 30 kg too much. I take every few days salt, sodium, magnesium and potassium. Sometimes I put small cup of black coffee in 1.5l bottle of water to minimize bad taste in mouth.

Now I have moderate energy, but feeling good. It is my first fast (of many) w/o food carvings and hunger pain in stomach. My longest was 44 days. But ending fast is the most important ā€œskillā€. last year was my first proper ending. After fasting I was mostly on low carb fresh food and salads.

I name my fast: Few Weeks Fasting, I have no goal, how long it will last.

I need advice for maintaining, preserving muscle loss. I can notice a loss of muscle mass.

@Lumpitor Woaaaa that’s amazing!!! You have great discipline to go on such a long fast… I’m just on Day 8, long way to go to complete my 21 days fast… I don’t have hunger though the mind sometimes will tell me to break the fast

Tenax – To be honest even my 3 days gave me b=so many benefits, my tummy feels great. I can kinda fit into my work pants. LOL – There may be a slight muffin top but I’m okay with that. The zip goes up now!!!

Shankari_Nagendran – Yes the more I fast the more I become aware of these things. I’ve has years of therapy due to my personality disorder and there are moments where I wake up feeling like I am a total different person. It can be so hard because one moment I am fine, coping, life is great and then next minute I feel like I don’t have the energy to live. I’ve got a lot of coping strategies that are super helpful and it’s not as bad as it was years ago. I have my list of things to do to take my mind off eating, the stupid thing is when I feel like eating I forget to look at the list LOL. As for your 10 days that’s amazing!! I hope to jump in when I’m ready and do another fast with you.

Mizqtpye – Yes I’m loving some of the alternate day fasting Videos I’ve been watching on you tube, they are really informative and from real life people!!! Thanks for the advice J You must be a week in or more now?

Z-Por – Yes I tried to jump back into it but I only lasted 24 hours then dropped out again, I need to have a few days to think and clear my mind and re-commit. This time 21 days keto then back into it. Funny though because when I found this forum I just could not wait to fast I didn’t prep as well as I should have!! Lesson learned. I find myself able to give my daughter more undivided attention when I’m fasting too, like I can focus more on her needs as I’m not thinking of myself. 3 kids must keep you run off your feet haha!!

30 mins!! Yay. How long you think you will last? Did your hunger totally disappear? I need to get to that stage. So hard around day 3 n 4.
