Weight gain after fasting

I have a question, if someone water fasted for 7 days and lost 5 lbs, and then after a few days, despite healthy eating and OMAD gained the 5 lbs back, did they even lose any fat?

And if not, would longer fasts be more desirable for actual fat loss?

Well on a 7 day fast, you should be losing 13 pounds, you will gain back 4 pounds of water weight if you eat healthy.

So im confused why only 5 pounds?

Faster is terrible for weight unless you are going to exercise and change your diet. I did a 40 day water fast and put every lb back on plus more.
