Water Fasting January 2020 Challenge - DAY 7 Check-In

Hi Guys!

Sorry I forgot to make today’s Day 7 Check-In post!!!

How are you feeling?

Here is the Live video from tonight!

A lot of talk about food corporations, and the lies about weight loss that we have been fed if that topic interests you as well as letting go of toxic situations and people in your life!

Hey fasting friends! Day 7 and I’m feeling great! Down 17.8 pounds (I had a lot of carbs during the holidays so lots of water weight here). Today has been my best day by far! Zero hunger, headaches etc. Lots of energy and mental clarity. The only side effect I have is rapid heart palpitations as if I’m climbing to the top of Mount Whitney @ 14,000ft (which I have actually done twice :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:). I need to add electrolytes to eliminate this. I get this with every extended fast.

The quote on my fasting app really resonated with me and hopefully it will speak to those of you who have been struggling.
" A word of encouragement during failure is worth more than an hour of Praise after success"

Welcome to our fasting community. I’m the resident “graybeard” due to having completed the longest water :droplet: fast at 40 days. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Btw, when I was a CPT I trained a client, a survivor of breast cancer, so she could climb to the top of Mt Whitney to celebrate her 50th birthday.image

As of 9 pm today I met my fasting goal! My first 7 day water fast and longest to date is on the books. Yesterday was sooooo rough for me but today I felt so much better, so…I’m still going! Going to take it day by day maybe I’ll make it to 10. Thank you to everyone in this group for your support and for sharing your own personal experiences! I don’t think I would have made it without you. Yasemin - you have created something you may think is small but it sure is mighty! Bless you for that. Hugs!

Today was much better for me. I was not starving. The most difficult part for me now it to stay strong. I want to eat just because. This is madness. But I will stay strong at take one day at a time

Here I bought up the llate day 7 check in during the live chat and I’m checking in late. Finished day 7 without issue. On cruise control now. I don’t foresee any issues up to day 14 as I recently completed a 14 day fast. Looking forward to the challenge of the days beyond. Crossing my fingers that work wont be the torture chamber I’ve been dreading on Wednesday. Hope everyone is doing well. Moving forward. We got this!

Good.

You’re getting into the territory of the next big challenge, detoxification. As you start burning off the deep belly fat, it will release the toxins stored there. Its a protective mechanism that the body stores heavy metals and toxins (i.e. pesticides from our food) in our fat.

Everybody’s experience is unique but the one symptom in common is fluctuating energy levels. Keep it up!
