Feeling like im dying lol…
Headache… Stomach Cramp… Nausea…
This is the longest I’ve ever went before… The struggle is VERY REAL today…

Oh no I’m sorry you’re having so many symptoms :frowning:

Did you take a multivitamin this morning, may be why you’re feeling nauseous!

Headaches should go soon, day 3 is typically the hardest and once you get over the hump it gets much easier! Especially after day 5 :sparkling_heart: Stay busy and keep posting periodically throughout the day!

I’m feeling good! Luckily I didn’t have any major transitional symptoms this time around, which made these three days much easier!

On day 3. Just signed up so I was unable to check in on the first 2 days. This will be my 2nd long term water fast. Did 14 days in December, the OMAD for 7 days and then started my current fast. Planning on going for 30 days. All the foods I dreamt about during the 14 day fast I really wanted no part of afterwards. In fact it was really hard to eat at all. I had to make a conscious effort to do so and even missed a day or two. If I’m feeling good after 30 days I plan to continue for as long as I can. Angus Barbieri is my hero and my inspiration.

Sounds good. Interesting you started your ReFeed with OMAD. What did your meal consist of? I’m trying to get a sense of everyone’s experience after completing a Prolonged Fast.

Mine was much different! LOL

No multivitamins what so ever… just feeling like crap… I’m trying to keep myself distracted… This to shall pass… I’m determined to make it to day 21…

For my refeed I made a stew/soup with the following ingredients:
1 large can of whole peeled tomatoes
1 carton of beef bone broth
+/- 2-4 Knorr chicken bullion cubes
1 head of cabbage
1 chopped red onion
1 chopped green pepper
1 pound fresh string beans
5 chopped stalks of celery
One container of lump crab meat
2 lbs colossal peeled shrimp
Pink Himalayan salt, black pepper, cumin, curry powder, ground turmeric, garlic powder.
Basically cook the cabbage down and add the shrimp and crab last. Add seasoning to taste. This was no set recipe. Afterwards I froze it in containers and Heated one up daily. Was especially good with the addition of cauliflower rice. Just be advised the cabbage will do a job on you. Like grease through a goose.

On Day 2 of your ReFeed how did you feel? How were your energy levels?

After one week into my fast my energy levels were through the roof. I had a very difficult time sleeping. This continued on into the refeed and I’m beginning to notice it’s ramping up again with this fast.

Day 3 64 hours in to 7 day water fast.

Slight headache but not bad. Not freezing cold anymore. Feeling good. Not hungry. I can do this!

Feeling OK, getting used to fasting again, doing ADF right now with an EF in my future. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yep, several reasons:

  1. Metabolic energy normally devoted to digestion freed up
  2. The brain runs better on ketones than glucose
  3. If you fast long enough all the dead and senescent cells clogging up your major organs are canibilized
  4. Also stem cell production in the liver is cranked up and when you refeed with protein those stem cells are converted into new cells repopulating your major organs.

Half way through Day 3 and feeling great. I have found each fast that i do, once i get past the first 24 hours, i feel much more energetic for longer. I have had no ‘hunger pains’, i have not thought about food at all and my water bottle is with me pretty much where ever i go.
Keep it up guys!!! Kick that day 3 in the butt!!!

This is great! Three days in and feeling strong. Indulged in a bottle of carbonated water plain today. weve clearly got this…so far
