Water fast failed need help

I failed my water fast yesterday on day 3 not because of hunger but because I got a really bad headache and leg pain when I woke up and I lasted about an hour later before I ate cause I knew the pain would go away when I did I think the reason this happened was because I did MMA training the day before

OK so I’m planning on started my fast again tomorrow but will not do any training I want to get to 21days does anyone have some advice that could help

You’re doing the right thing by cutting back on the training. Fasting is pretty stressful on the body. I’ve read old injuries will flare up during the fast. The only physical activity I’m doing is a daily walk of 1-2 miles but I’m not as in good shape due to type 2 diabetes.

Compdude is correct. Its best to cut back on training. Also consider not jumping right back into the fast. Give your muscles some time to recover from the last training. I’m planning a 21-day fast soon and I will not workout at all. I personally want my body to focus all possible energy on healing and cleansing. Good luck. You can do this! Fasting is natural for the body.

Good plan! I always caved in when I went to gym regularly. Just rest and try light stretches or walks
