Starting water fast for 10 days

Hi! I’m new here! I’m fifteen and my weight is 220 pounds. I know … that’s horrible :slight_smile: I had worse weight before I started thinking about that body i had ! I was 250 pounds at the end of summer . I want to lose weight as fast as I can , and trust me i lose weight very fast if I truly try it! I want to get some advices from you guys because i can’t even end day without eating something !!
I want to fast for 10 days . I will lose good weight but I can’t control myself .
NEED HELP

Start with something small and achievable first and complete it. Then take a slightly harder challenge. That way you build a record of success and build momentum.

Let’s begin by asking do you have a carb/sugar addiction?

Hi!

I started first trying keto diet, and after incorporated OMAD for a while.
Even thought after I Started eating normal, it was pretty easy for my body to adapt to water fasting.

I would try with keto first. A healthy keto, since you won’t feel that hungry and the need of sugary foods will pretty much disappear.

It’s great that you are striving to reach an optimal weight. Especially at your age!! I suggest focusing on your ideal diet before the fast so that the weight doesn’t come back afterwards. Also consider, What are your food challenges? Are you eating for emotional reasons?

No I don’t .

No :grinning: my problem is that i like snacking when i watch something on my phone …

The first question that comes to mind are you getting enough to eat at your regular meals or do you just snack all day.

The second question is what type of snacks: pastries, candies, beef jerky, etc?

  1. im not whole day eater.
    2.its hard to know , i snack with every delicious things i have in fridge. But im also healthy eater because i eat vegetables and fruits. I don’t eat chips , i drink more water than soda . I mean I don’t have that weight because of eating unhealthy

Just wanted confirmation that you don’t have a carb/sugar addiction.

As a consequence, I’d recommend with replacing all the junk snacks with healthy snacks as a first step.

No I don’t eat american snacks . Sometimes

Do you eat snacks late at night? In other words, do you eat snacks after dinner.

Ooo I’m a few days into a fast so let me reminisce about healthy snacks I eat while watching YouTube :joy:
Hummus with raw veg… I especially like the sweetness of carrots
‘icecream’ made of blitzed frozen fruit and some coconut milk.
Mixed nuts and seeds oooo and raisens
Mango with some plain yogurt
Porriage with added flax, chia seeds and raisens… Or with chopped apple…
:popcorn: is always a winner, sweet popcorn doesn’t even have that many kcal
Grapes are an adequate substitute
