Starting Another Fasting Thread (Rolling Fasts)

When we started we just wanted to be consistent. And God gave us the strength to be consistent.
I have no doubt that we’ll get to our goals

After this week I will not sign in here until January when you join me again. In the meantime I will do some juice cleanses and different cleanses to get out anything that shouldn’t be in my system. If you send me a message I will log in and respond. Xx

Thanks, I had a blessed time. I hope you had a marvelous time as well. I’m in a daniel fast at the moment with ministry and I plan on doing a juice fast for a while after that. You can join me but do a water fast instead and I will do a water fast on the days that I can. I have a lot going on health wise at the moment and need nutrients etc. Let me know what you would like to do. I would like to continue to partner up so we can hit our goal. Do you fancy juice fasting sometimes or just water fasts? I will check over the weekend to see your response and we can start moving forward. God bless you and keep you. Chat soon. X

Juice fasting is tough for me. I can’t stomach the juice after a few days 
But I can do a dirty fast (broth, tea, coffee, orange juice(the only juice I can withstand

Thanks for your well wishes. I am glad you had a wonderful time over the holidays.
So, here is what I would like to do til the end of April and depending on my results and overall health then I would make another plan. Nothing is set in stone you can mix it up. Some days I will juice fast that could be for 2 or 3 days, then i would do a vegetable cleanse which means just eating vegetable stir fry and salad with only home made dressings to make sure it is healthy and at the weekends I will refeed by doing very low-carb like protein with lots of vegetables and/or salads.
It is effective for cleansing the system and I will be doing a parasite cleanse for 3 months as well. This will help a lot of conditions and weightloss. So @Damaris_Njeri you can do this as well and if you want and mix it up with water fasting and we can continue to encourage each other.

That’s a great plan and you will also be getting the nutrients you need 
For me I think i will still be doing the 6 days fasting and refeed on weekend 
When I go shorter days I always fail. Tried doing ADF, 3 days fasting with 1 day refeed, etc. These never worked for me. I would refeed and continue eating 
But long fasts, like 6 days and above seem to work for me. They are challenging and the thought of ruining all the progress made during the long fasts, keeps me in check.
So I will continue with 6 days fasts with weekend refeeds. Then one week Omad per month.
If I get too bored with this, I can switch it up.
We can still continue updating here for accountability and to cheer each other up, even if we are doing different things 
I have been eating since December 
Didn’t even do Omad for long. I have gained 23 pounds
Good Lord. Like what was I thinking??
I moved to a bigger apartment, my family came over from December 3rd and stayed until this week. More than a month. We ate and ate and ATE 
I will be doing Omad Starting today for one week, then back to fasting starting next week.
Lord I pray for self control 
Wow! I guess we both have it figured out. Don’t worry about the weight gain we all gained over the holiday, I don’t even have to eat to gain weight so that’s a special talent I have
. I will do Omad with you this week and join you with that every month, so remind me the week before omad so we can continue to do it together. Also, I have refeed the same as you on a Saturday evening til Sunday evening like we normally do, apart from that I will be mixing it with my cleanse/detox etc. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, our first goal is to get under 200lbs. I think I am around 230 or just under I also put weight on over the holidays and I didn’t over do it either. At some point I will do a 6 days water fast with you but just not yet.
So omad starting after dinner today, so day 1 starts. Let’s go!
Also, hope you are enjoying on your home. I pray that the peace of God dwell at your new place.

I am enjoying my new apartment too much to be honest 
I prayed for a specific apartment in a specific location, and God answered the prayer better than I expected 
Sometimes change of environment is really great. I have started doing more things that I had forgotten, I am more active and I feel overall very optimistic and ready to meet all my goals 
God is great!! And amen to peace of our Lord.
That’s great regarding you getting the exact answer to prayers for your apartment. God is faithful and makes everything beautiful in his time. X
