Starting Another Fasting Thread (Rolling Fasts)

Am again attempting fasting.

I have failed so many times because i never prep. I’ve discovered not prepping is what makes my fasts unsuccessful.

I have been prepping for 2 weeks now, eating mindful, one meal a day and eating healthy. I think that am ready now to fast.

I will use this thread as my accountability. Will be posting weigh-ins, measurements, feelings and so on. Fingers crossed i make it this time around.

Starting Weight: 275 lbs
Goal Weight: 140 lbs
Height: 5’8"
Gender: Female

16 hours in.

Feeling optimistic, not hungry or tired. But it’s too early to experience any of those.

My goal is to not think of how far i am from my goal and how long it will take. Instead, i focus on sticking to my plan, taking it one hour at a time and being proud of small victories.

Will be weighing after 24 hours.

I ended up doing OMAD the whole week. Am not mad (surprisingly). The reason is that I didn’t go all in like when I failed previously.

I watched what I ate and only ate 1 meal a day. I even lost weight.

Starting Weight: 275 lbs
Current Weight: 269 lbs
Total Lost: 6 lbs

Been doing Omad since and i haven’t lost or gained any weight.

I started another fasting attempt yesterday, 22 hours in now. Will weigh tomorrow and update.
I hope to stick with this now, especially because OMAD is no longer working for me. But I think OMAD is amazing for maintenance.
