I’ve been doing 18/6 TRE for about a year. Lost 1/3 my weight. I haven’t fasted in years, but so far I’m 44 hours in.
Heart is humping hard, and I’m feeling like I have a very low grade fever, but I don’t feel hungry, so that’s good. Hangin’ in there.
How’s it going for you?
Just checked my blood sugar, and it’s 2.7/mmol. My A1C is usually around 5.8%, so it’s not a diabetic related thing.
A search told me this is far too low and that I should break the fast, so I’m going to do that. Currently cooking 25 grams of red-lentils with some turmeric and ginger into a smooth soup to break the fast.
Apparently, there could be something wrong with my blood sugar regulation which is causing this to happen, so I’ll be making an appointment with my doctor.

Just curious, what is your current weight? Are you taking electrolytes?
When I start feeling off, I usually take bone broth, it’s so amazing and always make me feel instantly better.
I’m a male, 5’5", started out a year ago at 162lbs. I’m 115 now. Not doing this to lose weight, just to clean the system. And no, not taking electrolytes with the exception of a pinch of Himalayan rock salt added to water.
I didn’t mention that I had tingly hands, clamminess, low-grade fever feeling, chest pain, severe lack of energy… This definitely was not how I should have been feeling.
Measured my blood glucose this morning, and it’s back to a healthy 4.7 mmol. That said, I probably won’t be doing extended fasts again for a long time. I’m just going to stick to my tried and true 20/4 TRE instead.

I agree with you on not doing long fasts at the current weight.
Those symptoms are scary.
For electrolytes, I also add magnesium and potassium.
