Having an accountability partner is amazing. I would have given in then i thought of you. You are still going strong and I don’t want to be the one failing us.

The last six days were challenging because it was our first time fasting for 6 days in a while.

At some point, we may need to have a meal during the week, especially if we have a dinner appointment or a family gathering. In such situations, please only mention it during our refeed periods. If one of us eats for any reason, it can trigger the other to want to eat as well, particularly since it’s already a struggle for us. Therefore, if you do eat, just continue your fast afterward and please only bring it up on Saturday or Sunday. Our refeed days should be structured so that our bodies can adjust to them. Eventually we should only be really hungry on a Saturday by God’s grace. :pray:t4:

Hey there! I hope you’re having a great day. When you get a chance, could you take a look at the message I sent before logging in? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! Thanks a bunch! :hugs:

I feel like it’s better to mention when you fail.

When I started this thread I wanted to use it as a journal too, write down when am struggling, when I don’t stick to my plan and so on. Each time I write it feels less overwhelming.

If you fail or need to have a meal for a special occasion, it’s good to just mention it. We don’t need to go into details of what we ate to avoid triggering the other. But it’s good to know so we are always on the same page.

Okay that’s fine. I just wondered if it would be easier. Also, I didn’t mean not to mention when we are struggling, we need to so we can encourage each other etc. We will continue as normal in this case. So far I don’t have any meals planned that is during our fasting periods but I will let you know if that comes up. We are doing well so far and after a while we will get used to it.

It is good to have a fasting partner!

Day 4,

I’m glad I got through. I was feeling nauseated for quite a few hours earlier, it has now passed. Thank God. :pray:t4:

Day 4 ongoing. I woke up with a very bad cold. I have a fever and headache but not craving anything.

I don’t know if it gets worse I might refeed and get some cold medicine. But for now taking some lemon & ginger juice to help with the cold.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well. I hope you recover soon. If you need to refeed, consider trying some bone broth along with protein and healthy fats. If you’re unable to continue after that, just resume fasting on Sunday night as we usually do to start our rolling fasts. I’m hoping for your quick recovery. Rest well. :pray:t4::pray:t4:

Thanks dear. I have slept a lot. I actually have some bone broth in the freezer. Will try that.

I haven’t broken the fast yet, but will take the bone broth for now.
