Good morning ,
Is it okkay to take a pain relief tablet like paracetamol? I’m having a very painful ache in my left arm feels like a nerve pain and numbness in my fingers. I’m trying to take a deep breathe but the problem i have to complete my work and you know stress and long day ahead

I just took omperazole to protect my stomach and took muscle relief ( muscerol) and im feeling better now

The only thing you have to watch out for is
1- Does the medication need to be taken with food (some medications can injure your stomach or make you very nauseous or even cause stomach ulcers if taken on an empty stomach)… I believe aspirin for example. So that’s one thing!
2- It can just make you feel nauseous, but otherwise if you feel good it’s fine 
For anyone else reading this on prescribed medication, make sure to check with your doctor because probably should be taken with food!

Thank you dear Yasemin for your advice . Yes I took ompirazole tablet before the muscle relief to protect my stomach … thanks now i feel better and more energetic but the funny feeling in my mouth is very noisy like popcorn 
I’m brushing my teeth twice but still … i hope it will last soon

I wonder if its the ompirazole or the other as by my understanding PPI’s don’t take effect that quickly. Long term release effect meds. Granted, I haven’t tried that one. (I have pantaprozal, I think its called). And as I tried to fight through stomach aches on my fast, I questioned if it was doing more harm than good, on an empty stomach.
That being said, I’m suspecting more and more that the “mild” laxative I had been taking for long term and daily, wasn’t as innocent as I thought and might have been the culprit).
What I DIDN’T try, was anti nausea pills. My thinking being that a stomach ache is not the same as nausea. As I contemplate another fast next week, its something I might try if I get past that 3 to 4 day keto flu mark and still have aches…but do it only after researching the effects of “air sickness” tabs, further.

I usually take omperazole on empty stomach before 15-20 mininute of taking any medicine to protect the stomach. I believe that all medicine have side effects but sometimes you need it because you have no choice especially during your day ( at work or daily chores)

I’ve just done a bunch of reading on laxative effect during fasting. One of the main reasons its not recommended is many of them (the one I took included) work by stimulating the intestines…or some might even say “irritating” the intestines to shake off material that’s moved out of the system! That certainly sounds to me like a recipe for a stomach ache!
