Fasting clock starts at 9pm tonight! I plan to fast until I fit into my jeans (5 days…?) Then do a refeed a couple days and continue to fast. I have not weighed myself but feel uncomfortable and not fitting into my clothes. It’s crazy how much weight can be put on in just a few months of being off track. I’m fasting to be more in control with my diet.

Let’s get it done! I need to lose about 30 to 40 pounds. I plan to do extended fasts then refeeds in between until my thighs are not touching.
Day 1 complete. no hunger today. All though I did think about food today. I got through it with tea. Pants are still tight fitting. I’m going to keep going until I fit into my jeans. I don’t want to accept I’m a larger size. Can’t wait to see the end results !

Good morning! Today I have the day off and meeting my aunt at a cafe we normally go together. So it’s going to be a challenge not eating. I plan to take home the tamales they sell and freeze them for later. I’m going to order camomile tea. Later today I’m meeting a friend to look at Christmas lights from the car.
Day 2 complete! Made it through the day! Not hungry or thinking about food. Tea is what is helping me get through this fast. I’m able to pull up and button my jeans but they’re snug. Definitely not comfortable enough to wear yet. I’m hoping to go 7 days but we’ll see on the 5th day. This morning I took electrolytes and it helped with my headache. Going to wash my face and off to bed early.
Day 3 complete!! I learned today that fasting is like a muscle. Every fast becomes easier and I’m able to go longer. Still bloated and jeans snug. I have my calendar planned out for the month but will change it if I’m able to fast longer than 5 days.
Not sure if this is normal but I woke up in the middle of the night panicking about having no food consumption in 3 days. I got up and grabbed a few walnuts. I hope it didn’t break my fast! I have to learn how to quiet my mind more so I don’t go into panic mode again. I guess quieting the mind is the same as meditation. I weighed myself this morning and back to the plateau I’ve been stuck at for months 185. Lol I have no idea of my weight when I started but it feels good to be back! Still have 50 pounds to go.

Debating if I should eat sliced cucumbers in lemon juice or my mind is playing tricks! Gotta fight through my food temptations!
Ok I gave in and had my cucumber salad and some walnuts. Had a family emergency and needed the energy. It was under 500 calories.
Day 4 complete Had a small refeed last night under 500 calories so I still consider myself still fasting. I’m not going to reset my fasting clock because then I won’t take it seriously. Still in ketosis.
Broke my fast officially tonight. The meal was Keto friendly and probably over 500 calories but no regrets! Started my fasting clock again and plan to go until Friday.
My non scale victory today is I’m finally able to fit comfortably into my jeans! no more leggings or sweats!

I’m sure you know this but I’ll mention it anyway - if you don’t eat enough between fasts, you’ll find it difficult to do the next fast. 500 calories is definitely not enough…
When my kids are home I like to enjoy dinners with them, so fasting will start again next week.
Day 1 starting up again today and going for 5 days. Kids are with their dad this weekend so it will be easy not to give into temptations.
