MY WHY
I’m gained a lot of weight over the past 9 months and it makes me so insecure. I skip all social events, I don’t want to be seen in public. I isolate myself since August. I hate my body and I’m so unhappy… I started in september with collage and you’re students years are suposed to be the most beautiful years of your life, but I haven’t expierenced that yet. so it’s enough of feeling awful, being shy, don’t want to do thing … bcs I think I’m to ugly. Ineed to learn to stop to eat when I don’t feel good. I want a total reset. of my mind and refill it with positive en loving thougts and discipline.I think if I can do this I can continue this. my goal is 20 days but I will see day by day and listen to my body. so I will see where I will get. after these days I want to eat healthy en learn to intuitivly eating. I’m so ready to make a change. I think the hardest part will be mentally. my affermations are, I can do this. this is possible. this will be easy for me.

yes forsure it’s time for new beginings, this resonates so hard with me, I’m super excited to start tomorrow. nothing is holding me back. I have come to the end of a cycle and i’m totally ready to let go
Since I haven’t seen any pictures nor know your weight, may I make a small suggestion: do what I call a “sanity check”. To see if your weight goals are within normal bmi. Your profile picture shows someone of normal weight. My weight is far lower than my friends but definitely in the normal bmi range. That’s what I use as guidance

DAY 1
my start weight is 65,2 kg ( 143lbs)
my height: 168cm (5 feet 6 inches)
So this may sound weird but because Belgium is in lockdown, I think it will be a bit easier, bcs school/universities are closed all restaurants, bars and clubs are closed too. so there won’t be a lot of temptation.

DAY 2
weight: 64,4 kg 141,9 lbs
The first day was really easy, went for an hour walk. Didn’t feel tired or anything.
Today I went shopping for 3 hours en walked an extra 2 hours. I still feel really good and I’m not feeling hungry.

DAY 3
weight 64,1kg only 0,3kg down
this night I got my periode maybe it has something to do with that, but I don’t know. So if anyone knows please let me know.
last night I had a really strong headache, but I don’t know if it was bcs of my waterfast. because I have problems with my neck and I put a icepack in it and my pain went away. so happy that that worked

DAY 4
weight: 63,6 kg
Yesterday I felt a slight hunger, my mind was going crazy about food, I watched a lot of videos abour refeed and keto and intuitive eating. Everyday I go for a 2 hour walk for the past 3 day sometimes even longer. My sleep is still pretty good I sleep aroun 8 to 9 hours. yesterday I also started to drink apple cider vinager. 1 tbs in the morning and one in het evening. ( it’s good for my water fast but also against corona). yesterday I also took oxy- powder. normaly it’s suposed to clean all the left overs in your intestines… but nothing came this moring so when I will go home for the weekend I will do a bowel irrigation. to do a full detox. I also heart that you need to drink a liter of lukewarm water in one go and that you dan need to trowup. to release all the accids of your stomach. but I don’t know if I should do that. also yesterday I went 5 floors up with the stairs and I felt my heart beating very hard in my chest. 4 days is the longest that I ever fasted so excited to compleet today and go into day 5. I keep stong I know after day 5 they say everything gets easier. ow yeah and I’m also going to start taking cold showers every morning for 5 minuts.
Watch your energy levels. Fasting is stressful on the body. Don’t over exert yourself with too much exercise. When I successfully completed my 40 day fast, the most strenuous exercise I did was a 1 to 2 mile daily walk.
yeah I went to the city center for 3 hours. I feel extreemly hungry today. I have no energy… I think I’m just going to stay in bed all day. I constantly think about food and the oreo’s in my cupboard and … I really want to reach day 5 bcs before I alway broke my fast on day 4. i’m also a bit nauseous.
Probably some sugar withdrawals. Hang in there. Keep focusing on your “why”.
Stay strong!! You got this honestly, just believe in yourself. Also, try to rest more!! Your body is self healing at the moments so you want to avoid any added stress unless you really have to do something, Word of advice, find something to keep you busy that isn’t too physically demanding. For example, work on your post fast refeeding plan or watch more fasting videos to keep you motivated, BUT YOU GOT THIS, I BELIEVE IN YOU!

I’m so proud of myself never have I fasted this long
yesterdag I was so low on energy but around 10pm I had an energy rush. I did a lot And went to bed around 1am had around 8,5 hours of sleep. but today I woke up en I feel extreemly week I have the feeling that I’m just going to stay in bed the whole day, also I’m super thirsty but yesterday I drunk around 4,5 liters (151 fl oz) and I don’t know if that’s still healthy.
