Kyle's Journal

Woah, deliveries after 4 hours?! That’s … almost creepily fast! I guess you live around a good network with warehouses and fitbits are an easy, and I’m guessing kind of also requested often so wellstocked?
But still, from the moment of clicking order to delivery 4 hours! Speed! :stuck_out_tongue:

Excellent english there  … excuse the scandinavian and hope you’re feeling better!

The speed was Mind Blowing… usually things arrive about 2 days after I order.

Good Morning Fasters!

I’m LOVING my FitBit. It really makes me contemplate my activity… or lack thereof! I found if difficult to sleep with it on as I really like to feel unencumbered when I sleep and I noticed the watch a LOT. I hope I can get used to it though as it tracks sleep cycles and I’m interested to know how thats going from a data standpoint.

Three more days of meds and I’m back to fasting. I feel like I’m 100% well.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day!

What Fitbit did you get? Now that I can’t swim it might be good data to have!

I found a knockoff with good reviews. I’m thinking about it.

It does the calories and steps thing. Just debating if I really will pay attention to it.

My sister had a fitbit. I wonder if my brother in law still has it.

FitBit Versa 2.

Sounds like you got a bargain…and crazy fast delivery.

I received a Fitbit Inspire HR last Christmas as a gift. I love it, usually. Sometimes, I feel like it’s scolding me for being too inactive and I have been known to verbally insult it when it buzzes at me every hour. On the other hand, I get all excited when it congratulates me for reaching my step goal for the day. I cannot sleep with it on. I tried for weeks since I wanted that information, but I just can’t.

Glad to know I’m not alone when I side-eye the buzzer for telling me to do my steps. :joy:

Yeah, I’m not sure if I can adjust enough to sleep… I’ll give it a shot for a little while. Thanks for the input!

Checking in again. I noticed something today. As some of you know, I’m the caregiver for my adult Autistic son. He has some aggression issues and stress has been high in our household for MANY years. Anyway… I noticed on my FitBit heart rate monitor yesterday while he was at a therapy program and I was home alone my HR was 63. When he came home (and all day today) my heart rate. is between 71-76. I took him to eat at a restaurant today (which can. be VERY unpredictable) and my HR was 90 THE ENTIRE. TIIME WE WERE. THERE. I was really surprised… it’s like I am watching. my adrenaline and cortisol in real time! Crazy. The Fitbit also has a feature to go through a series of breath work. I am going to take advantage of that feature and see if I can learn to relax myself more. Anyway… I found it fascinating and wanted to share. If you have a continuous HR. monitor maybe you notice the same types of HR activity?

One other note… I started watching a TV series on Netflix called “Emily in Paris”. It’s about a 20-something American girl that takes a job in Paris. Very light and mindless… but I enjoyed it and thought I would suggest. to those looking for something along those lines.

Hats off to you for being a caregiver to your child. It really brings other issues into perspective. Its interesting how you have analyzed your heart rate based on the situation. I will try it too. Thanks for sharing… It sounds like a brilliant idea!

LOL… I saw Emily in Paris… and I am a guy… and now I am into this series called Away. Just love it. For something mindless I default to modern family or friends… dont mind the reruns…

I’m the same way. I’ll have to go check out “away” now!

Kyle, so interesting to see how your nervous system reacts in real time!! I’m sure mine goes wild in certain situations even when I would say I feel fine. I love the comments about the shows you are watching, the little house in the prairie has stuck with me, sounds so peaceful and calming to watch !! I just may have to find them …. Always rooting for ya sweet pea :two_hearts:

Finished my three day and had a meal. Starting another fast right now. Was shooting for three days but think I’ll do five. Build this fasting muscle back up.

Haven’t weighed in a couple weeks. I need new batteries for my scale. I’m going to wait until November 1, and hopefully be surprised by a big drop!

Hope everyone is doing well!
