I plan to fast all year, apart from if I have to go to functions etc. So the answer is yes :pray:t4::pray:t4:

That would be Me Too, Overcomer!!! I am Soo looking forward to March 2!!! I am starting with 7 day Water Fast, then 72 or 48-hour with Carnivore OMAD refeed. Thank you for helping keep me accountable!

February 18, 2022. Still not OMAD, but still Carnivore. Lost weight but the eating window Must become smaller for what I am looking for. I know that during lent that will occur. I will be leaning on the Lord more. I will quite possibly be doing 48s during Lent and Carnivore OMADs. That Accountability will do the job.

February 19, 2022. Fast day and did well until time to shop. Ate cheese for insurance against overbuying, with an extended fast coming up. Worked too. Then made Jarlsberg dip when I came home. Had to sample to make sure ingredients were correct. So… still lost a lb.

February 20, 2022. Biding my time until the 40-Day fast beginning March 2. Everything is set up for success starting then. Remaining in carnivorous eating until then so I can avoid the headache. Also staying in the 140s until then. Journal is set up.

February 21, 2022. Fast Day was not successful. Ate cheese to stay out of headache. I don’t want headaches on every Fast Day, so I break the Fast. Not smart, but avoiding pain. Long days in the Office. Busy. Need to add more Electrolyte Water to my day. Starting today…

February 22, 2022. Overate for my eating day, and definitely Not OMAD. I’m not serious until March 2… Looking Forward to getting serious.

February 23, 2022. Fast Day… Had coffee tonight because I was going to be on a call. That didn’t happen and still had coffee. Bummer all the way around.

February 24, 2022. Ate too often. Tightening that eating window. Who am I kidding. March 2 is my goal and I have been careless just waiting for that day. I want to stay in the 140s though, so I don’t have that struggle again (of getting Out of the 150s). I do look forward to the 7-day kick off. I may repeat in during the 40 days, like if I hit a stall. Or throw in a few days of Dry Fasting. The Book “Phoenix Protocol” is a goldmine.

February 25, 2022. Bought carbs before going on the 40 Days of No Carbs At All Period. I Will stick to that. I’ve done it before. Not for 40 days, but goals are good to set. Stretches you. Show you what you are capable of. And, it’s Lent. I always loved Lent as a child. All us girls did, me and my 2 sisters. Then, it was Candy. We kept a shoebox under our beds and anyone that gave us candy during those 40 days, it went into the shoebox. When Easter came, we got to eat all the candy we stored for the 40 days. It did teach us self control… until Easter, that is.
Now we’ve grown up and Lent means more. It’s not candy now. It’s whatever the Lord puts on our heart. But it Is still learning restraint. Temperance is self control, especially regarding Food and Drink. And we Have that as Fruit of the Holy Spirit. I think I mentioned that before, but it bears repeating.

February 26, 2022. More of the same. I can’t wait until that is referencing the Discipline I am experiencing. But the weight is still okay. Not losing, but not gaining either.

February 27, 2022. Wednesday begins the fast. I am looking Forward to it. Gluttony has its downfalls. I am applying very little restraint and I don’t like it. I know. This is a Fasting website and talking about food is not encouraged. I am Looking Forward to talking about my successes with Fasting, even 72 hour fasts and the carnivorous refeeds.

March 2, 2022. First Day of the 40 before Lent. Sore throat, sneezing and coughing made life difficult. I ate to make the pain go away, and it did. Took Ty PM to help me sleep. That’s it. Went to bed.

March 3, 2022. Lost 4 lbs. so I was happy even though I did not accomplish as much in the area of Discipline as I desired. The throat problem started up again half way through the day. I need more sleep. I would have put my kids or Bob to bed if they had these symptoms. Going to bed early.

Day 3 of 40… March 4, 2022… Lost another 4 lbs. Ate today rather than the Water Fast. Proved well. Fewer symptoms. Slept thanks to Ty PM… 1/4 of a tablet. Plus 1/3 Tylenol for pain. Took Echinacea all day long though. Had steak for dinner. Going to bed early again.

Day 4 of 40… March 5, 2022. Lots of Echinacea again. Went to bed early because I got up early to go to Walmart. Did not sleep as well. Did not lose either. Back to Ty PM.

Day 5 of 40… March 6, 2022. Better today. Having Pork Tenderloin tonight. No coughing, sore throat nor am I cold. Temperatures are finally warm outside. Getting much accomplished today and looking forward to a new week, with no mistakes in it!!! I finally got the computer today During the day! This is going to be a Very good week. Starting off with Communion, receiving help from the Lord! That Always does better. Slept in this morning so I will be listening to a call tonight and staying up later. Excited again!!!

Day 6, March 7, 2022. Good day and back at it. Staying to the program. No sore throat, so that’s a plus. Staying with 72 hours then a carnivore refeed, OMAD. So far; so good.

Day 7 of 40. March 8, 2022. Staying with it today. Tomorrow I will do OMAD, Carnivore.

Day 1 May 16, 2022. Monday. Continue until I drop 30 pounds. Excited about this journey, again. I have one person doing this with me, or visa versa, Brandye. She has already lost 36 pounds and only has 21 to go. She also works out four days a week. I will add working out tomorrow. Very light.
P.S. I Have not begun the light exercising. I don’t feel pressured to do that: so for the sake of time, I have stalled beginning it. It has been nearly 2 years since doing Any workouts. I miss them but the Time they require… I am not willing to get out of bed sooner. I will. Just not Right now.
