Day 24… June 24, 2022… Day 3 Dry Fast. I am breaking with water tonight. Yesterday was great but I Was tempted to eat. That will come soon enough. I will break with water and liquid and tomorrow I will have a bit more and the 3rd day will have a carnivorous meal OMAD and immediately start another water fast for two days. Then Dry Fast for two days. I will do this the remainder of June. Back and forth between Water and Dry Fast. Going down in weight each day. Yahoo!!

Day 1… July 8, 2022… 30 Days with a 7 Day Dry Fast, July 17-24. Good beginning today. Planning on only Carnivore (Eggs and or meat) OMAD every 72 hours. Then the Dry Fast. Then continue with the 72 Hour EW, OMAD, and continue. Dry Fast every 2 or 3 days. Continue through August 7. Begin Light weights and stretching. Plank. AB and Glutes. Of course, Walking.
Sounds like a plan! You can do it!
Actually Day 1 starts tomorrow… This is the night before. I have the next 6 weeks booked, including the Dry Fast July 17-24. Doing 72 hours of Combination Electrolyte Water and Dry Fasting and Carnivore OMAD every 3rd night. I am also putting in the Occasional Low Carb Day in the OMAD, like every other OMAD of Low Carb (under 20 gm. carbs) to confuse the body and stimulate the metabolism. But the mainstay is the Fasting. One Meal of Just less than 800 calories every third day. Sounds like Fun to me. We’ll see.
Day 1… July 11, 2022… Couldn’t wait to begin the day. I have everything mapped out in MFP. I wish there was an app for fasting and eating. 72 hour Intermittent Fasting, then eat and repeat. With the occasional extended fast. Haven’t found it. So, Electrolyte Water Fast, tomorrow Dry then another Dry, then OMAD. Then Repeat until the 17th which begins a week of Dry Fasting with the Group. Then, back to the 72 hour EW/Dry Fasting, then OMAD again… Until Goal. That’s it, except Exercising throughout. Anyone have an App for that? Seems simple enough. I will keep looking.
Day 2… July 12, 2022… Dry Fast… Doing well today. Having an OMAD meal either tomorrow night or Thursday. Yesterday was good. Muscle cramping last night.
Day 3… July 13, 2022… Doing Great! Dry Fast, day 2. Eat (OMAD) tonight. So far it has been easy. Repeat this 3-day Water, Dry, Dry/OMAD before Sunday. I guess I am doing 2 days of OMAD, which is not good. I look forward to the 7-Day Dry Fast with the group, beginning Sunday night.
July 16, 2022. First of 2, Pre-Day-Fast. Tomorrow night, 8PM, I begin 7 Days of Dry Fasting with a group on Facebook. Then I will continue, after rehydrating, for 3 days and will do 72 hour, OMAD, until Goal of 130. I consider OMAD, Fasting, because I will have a narrow eating window of 1-1.5 hour. Then Back to the Electrolyte Water Fast for the next 72 hrs. This is my plan.
Day 1 … July 17, 2022…of 7 days Dry fasting then on to Electrolyte Water Fasting. Read August Dunning’s book, “The Phoenix Protocol” and will be honest about how I do. The longest Dry fast I did was 5.75 days back in November, 2021, with Dr. Wade’s group. He is well-respected and Well-studied on all types of fasting. He is doing this with the group. There are about a dozen seasoned fasters this time.
Day 1 … Monday, July 18, 2022… Actually, the Fast began Monday, Sunday night at 8 PM didn’t give many hours of Fasting. So Monday began a full 24 hours. I had to tell myself, Many times, “No!” at the thought of eating or drinking. It was not horrible. I had no physical symptoms and had a Very busy day in the office. Now, here it is 3:30 am on Tuesday, and I have been fighting leg cramps from being on my feet. All in all, I have done okay. Using my Authority, I command weakness to Go, and it does. I can feel that I am in the beginning of Ketosis, but I will fight it and go on. Dry Fasting is really easier than Electrolyte Water (EW) Fasting, because I can Not cheat, or it starts all over again. So, here we go!
Day 2… Tuesday, July 19, 2022, Dry Fast… Lost 4 pounds in one day, which is not unusual. Today was really good. Last night I didn’t sleep well, hence being on the computer at 3:00 AM. But I am hopeful for tonight. Not one bite or sip of anything. Two down, Five to go. Today was actually easier than yesterday. Entered Ketosis and tomorrow starts the Magic… tearing down fat cells for Endogenous Water. You have no thirst at all and urine is clear and odorless, not dark and pungent, as in dehydration. Internal water is preferred by the body and it tears apart fat cells, tumors, cysts and damaged cells to attain the water needed. It’s amazing how much water you get rid of when you don’t Consume it!! The body is Amazing!!
Day 3… July 20, 2022… 4:52AM, Sleeping??? Must have greater success here. Otherwise, things are wonderful. No side effects. Want more sleep though.
Day 3… July 20, 2022… Today was a bit tougher than the first two. Hungrier. Tempted to eat. Slight weakness in the legs. All of it reminding me that I was fasting. The good news is that I stayed Dry and not a smidge of temptation enough to go off. It really is easier than water fasting to me. And I have 3 days down and 4 to go. Actually, already began the fourth da at 8PM tonight. Yahoo! Tomorrow should be better since day three is called a “Crisis Day”. And I lost another two pounds.
Day 4… July 21, 2022… Doing Great. Slept okay with no discomfort at all. Not thirsty or hungry. Plenty of strength. My legs are good also. So, we are on the straight stretch. The only thing I fight is Boredom. I look forward to eating and drinking (not alcohol). The absence of that is boring. I guess what I am doing is breaking Bad habits and substituting good ones in their place. I have to look further down the road to the good that is coming out of it all. I Have lost a total of 10 pounds. That is a Good side-effect.
Day 4… July 21, 2022… Four days Done! Not one bite, not one sip!! Great strength but I Nearly Quit 17 Times today!! I want CHEESE!!! Plus Anything else. NEVER Watch TV on a FAST!!! Do you Realize How Many Food Commercials there Are!!! It Is A Conspiracy!!! Forget Aliens, This is the Real conspiracy!!! But I didn’t and that’s the main point. I Must set my Finish date at Three Days Past my actual one so I can Quit Three Days Before!! I am So Glad I have this accountability group, even though no one reads it. I feel like I am accountable and that’s what counts. But I am SO gonna Love the Homemade Beef Bone Broth!!! On Wednesday… see what I did there??
Hi skays! I read this and I could sooo relate!! . You are doing Great!! Keep it up and I love cheese too!! I’m mostly fasting with a few extras here and there (coffee with cream, and one lil Caesar salad). Its tough but think about how great we will feel when we reach our goals… the confidence!
That is an Intermittent Fast. Good Girl!! Keep your eating window as narrow as you ca and it counts for an IF. OMAD or TMAD in a narrow window is the best training for an expended fast. I started out that way for about a year or longer, then tried the extended fast here, with Yasemin. That started a whole new way of thinking for me. Way To Go, Anna!!
Day 5… July 22, 2022… The day was good until I decided to start the Bone Broth. My husband tasted it and said it was too salty. I added water and that corrected it. Then I made the Very bad decision to Taste it. It was Very good and I ended up tasting it again until I had about a half cup. That broke the dry fast, but I am going back on until Sunday night. I don’t feel guilty because I have a Very hard day tomorrow in the office. On my feet with back-to-back patients. This is what happened the last time I did an extended Dry Fast. Oh well… I may do another 5-Day on my own some time in a couple months. We’ll see. I lost another 2 pounds overnight, so there’s that. And I am back on Dry Fasting.
Day 2… Again… August 2, 2022… Back to Resolve. I’ll be challenging myself to repeat what I did beginning July 26, 2021. Water Fasting with added Dry Fasting when I run into a Stall. It appears that I have the Same Goal… 130 by August 30. I will not be upset if I am a few pounds from it though. And I WILL Break Properly. This last Fast, the Dry one, I broke Wrongly because I assumed that Bob would be eating/drinking the Broth also. He only wanted a couple bowls. I was Left with finishing it off Myself. I will Not make that mistake again. I put nearly All of the lost weight back ON! No More, by the Grace of God.
158… Day 1 July 26, 2021, Water Fast Begun. (actually did 25 days)… 20 lbs. by August 30
Day 3… August 3, 2022… Did Perfectly yesterday. Planning on another perfect day today. Planned out the next week. Sticking with this. Added light floor exercise. No cardio. My husband and I walk 15 minutes a day also. No headache and stomach great. Total of five pounds lost. Great strength and Focus. Yahoo! Thank You, Lord!!
