Insomnia during extended water fasting

Hi,

Around day 5 or 6 of extended water fasting, I struggle with insomnia. This is why I broke my fast twice already, around day 8.

I would really love to overcome this phase, so I can reach my goal of 40 days.

Since I did a lot of keto diets the last 2 years, my body should be adapted to using ketones and I do drink enough. So I don’t know why this happens.

Anyone else experiencing this? Do you have any advice? Will this pass? Do you take supplements?
