Last night went well. Had a good sleep and a BM this morning. My own refeed broth is going to be a staple.

Pulled a couple more avocados out for today.
Planted a seed in some water and trying to get it rooted.

Up one lbs this morning.

Not much else to report this morning. :blush:

Congrats on completing your weekly goal!

I have a watermelon sitting on the floor… staring at me to eat it. Will cut it up after my 48 fast next week.

How do you ripe your avocado?!!!

@Van the avocado I had yesterday wasn’t ripe enough! :cry: I bought them a week ago.

I’m thinking the ones I have now with be perfectly ripe by next weekend. They are organic and those seem to go slower. They had sat out for 4-5 days and then I put them in the fridge. 2 were ripe on Friday.

I have too much fresh food that I won’t get through today. May have to pass some off to a neighbor.

Going for the full 5 days this week!

Getting too full on these refeed days. Most is soup broth, or watermelon.

Didn’t restrict my eating window and was up till 3:30 in the morning watching a show.

Back up to 202.5. definitely feeling bloated and will be ready to resume fasting with open arms tonight.

Will be paying attention to the keto headache and how long that takes to flip back out of this week. I felt great last Thursday and want to feel that ASAP. I may have to keto on the refeed if that transition annoys me too much.

Lots of thoughts and more research needed.

My biggest concern is making sure my immune system can handle if I came in contact with virus. Why Im trying to get as many nutrients in during refeed days.

My new collagen broth from the chicken feet came out beautiful. It’s frozen and have enough for 6 weekends minimal.

Provided we don’t have any hurricane issues, I’ll continue fasting.

It is so much fun, reading your posts. So, the dead people made you break your fast? LOL. That was so funny!!! Don’t waste the lobster!!! Anyway, I would rather do 21 consecutive days fasting, than (4) 5 times going back to day 1. That is hard, IMHO. Yikes, who likes day 1-3 of fasting? Not me. I am on day 1 today, and actually feel a leeetle anxious about the next few days of crazy mind games, like dead relatives, telling me to not waste good food, that is leftever from my refeed…like those tomatoes, napa cabbage, mushrooms, red bell peppers etc… I plan on giving the lot of it to my son, tomorrow, when he comes by to visit. You seem totally unimpressed by days 1-3 of fasting, but I would rather go to the dentist than keep doing fasting days 1-3… Thank you for your posts, they are so much fun to read!!!

@schmidtsmia going for 5 again this week but will know more by the end of the week.

I felt really good last week on Thursday. Better than any day on that 17.5 day fast. And it pulled into Friday but I started thinking about food.

If I get that kind of day again I may have to enforce a mandatory keep going for x more days rule. Like 3 or 5.

I do get concerned about refeed as I’m 52. Part if me probably should ignore the age as well but those dead people start yapping again. My mother is the worst of them.

Today weigh in 201.5 yay! Back in the down swing.

A new reorganize of the kitchen and fridge freezer today. See if I can make more water room.

I was up around 7 am, took a shower and came back to bed.

Staying up and going to watch some ‘Alone.’

The free ‘Alone’ ended but I found a 7 day free trial with my cable provider which gives me a acess and the binge watching rolls on!

This show and is so intense and pairs with fasting…

People have to learn to live with themselves, fight some demons, realize what is most important to them. Some don’t even care about the money in the end.

Will be watching more today.

I have a lot to do and have been procrastinating for months now. At a stand still with myself.

Down is down! It sounds as though you are getting some insight into your mindsets and emotions and how to get unstuck. That’s a good place!

When it comes to that “to-do list”, are you able to get to the bottom of why you are putting it off? Maybe you never have to do some of it?

Back of my head has a mild headache but I feel it departing. I think it’s going to be a big energy day.

A planned trip to the grocery store today. Getting small water bottles and mushrooms. And spinach.

Refeed this weekend goes from Friday at 3:30 to either Sunday or Monday 3:30. I want to try a salmon spinach soup recipe I found. Other than that it’s going to be a lot of broth. Need to up my low carb game. Also will be aware of calories - which is annoying but I don’t want to keep getting the digestive discomfort back. I can handle the headaches, but stomach issues take too long to fade. They are better at least today.

Just had to blanch some veggies for the freezer and started thinking about food.

Went in the bathroom and lifted my shirt up and looked at my stomach.

I’m cured! :rofl:

Friday 3:30 is less than 2 days away. Really working on deciding the meal plan for refeed weekend.

Going to attempt to track carbs and calories and not keep eating till I feel overly bloated. That was a mistake last week. I didn’t eat bad - mostly water chocked things.

Saturday I have plans to make a salmon and spinach soup I came across. It uses a chicken stock base and so it’ll be a good broth. That’s going to last me both Saturday and Sunday.

Pulling out avocados now to be nice and ripe.

Making some cold brew green tea atm. Tomorrow I want to make cold brew coffee for the weekend too as it needs to sit for 24 hours.

I miss cooking with out restrictions. That’s my biggest struggle right now.

My neighbors and my own freezers are all 3 full now so there’s nothing left for me to prepare for my mini eating window :rofl:.

Emergency hurricane food supplies are all stocked up and I feel like a favorite toy has been taken away.

Other than pickling or making jams, I will have to wait a while.

Really hoping I’m back down to 194.5 before the weekend as I think that will keep me below 200 for a restart Sunday night.

Yasemin said what stopped her from overeating, was
tracking the food, and adding up the calories. I tried it,
with the rule that I only eat, what is on my planned refeed.
Well, I did not track the calories, and overate, LOL.
My tummy was seriously unhappy. Lesson learned.
I am on day 4 of my second round of 21 days. Enjoy your

Came across this gal on reddit - she started over 300, was down a hundred lbs and had fasted m-f, and then Omad 1000 Cal’s Saturday and Sunday.

She then went to rolling 72’s.
Love seeing those successes.

Had an extremely colorful dream last night. I was moving into a new apartment and someone had overdone it with painting the walls. Purple on one wall and green on another. They’d even colored the ceilings.

Your success in itself is quite motivating!!!

I used to interpret dream for Christians. Your dream could mean a lot of things. Moving into a new apartment or home means new phases and chapters of your life. Your home represents your life. Colours have meaning too. It all depends on what those colours mean to you. Purple is the color of royalty, wisdom and ambition. Green to me means restart or refresh. Just googled green and it says “growth, harmony, freshness, etc.”

Painting and colours on the ceiling represents good things - pushing beyond the ceiling of your life. Up up and beyond!

Less than a day left!

Very excited.

Feeling good. Drinking lots of water today.

Just reset weight goal in the life app for my end of summer goal at 177. Probably out of reach but going to give it my all. Expecting maybe 2-3 lbs a week. Trying to imagine how that will feel. It will get me there with more ease.

Definitely don’t want to go over 200 again. I’ll be checking the scale religiously until I get under 180 in a safer place.
185 will be a celebration as well. Dang, I’m only 10 lbs away from that. At 185 I go from obese to just overweight. Ahhhhh.

Ok, mini in-between goal is 185 by August 7th.
Done.

And waist is down an inch today to 46. Let’s see if I can make that into 44. :grin:

Just went down 3lbs overnight. Almost makes me question if I should keep going or take my losses and enjoy the weekend.

Should probably enjoy the weekend. Give the autophagy something to build with. :slightly_smiling_face:

Here we go again. Tom is back. Seems I’ve now got a 23 day cycle. I get 18 days of peace.

I’m going to guess my hormones are finding a new rhythm.

Had a good day today but didn’t make it out of the house as some nasty thunder storms hit.

Never got my watermelon but luckily I had some sugar free Jello on hand. I really wanted that watermelon too.

Will need to motivate my arse out early tomorrow to get one.

Made a salmon spinach soup that was really delightful. Have a bowl left over for tomorrow. Had a couple of string cheese sticks as well.

Drank a ton of cold tea today. So far this weekend refeed is feeling better than last weekend.

Tomorrow morning I get my coffee fix in till next weekend. Soup, avocado, some olives, and watermelon for brunch. Then back to business at 3:30. That’s the plan.
