Less than 30 lbs to goal! Not that I expect to see goal before February.
Still been sticking with pure water.
Past 5 days is where my real challenge begins.
I need to not over think it. I will psych myself out. I’m still not sure how I did over 17 days the first time around.
Let the mind purge begin!

Congratulations! I will get on the scale tomorrow. I will do a serious dance if I am under 170 lbs.!! I saw today, that my hanging over spare tire is almost gone!!! I don’t have to wear grandma underwear anymore that goes up to my ribs! All my nice, sexy undies I can wear again, hurray. I have 40 lbs to go until I reach my goal weight. I hope to reach it by the end of the year. I was surprised to read that you find extended fasts hard, and after the 5th day. Wow, the opposite is true with me. Those first 5 days are realllllly challenging because of my inner brat, that wants me to eat. It shuts the eff up, after about 5 days, as I have shown it, I do mean business. Plus, ketosis lets me not ever feel hungry. So what is so hard for you, starting after the fifth day? I wish you ease, relaxation and an easy rest of your fast.

Mild headache back of my head against.
I was up earlier and in big discomfort - heartburn, and just couldn’t get comfortable in any position.
I had a shot of pickle juice and a mild heartburn pill. Was finally able to sleep again.
Holy cow there must be some detox or something going on. Almost 20 lbs in 7 days.
Up again - only 5:33. I’ve been aware for about 40 minutes?
Lower back pain - both sides. Similar to a pms pain.
Really can’t get comfortable. My head still wants to sleep and my body says get up
I know it’s not recommended but just took a couple of ibuprofen. If my ovaries are in deed on strike that should settle them down.
I’m cold too. Had the AC on for a few hours and now I’m freezing.
Lower back pain could be kidneys. I saw another extended faster say that calcium supplements alleviate her lower back/kidney pain. Might be worth a shot?

Yes. I took some supplements in the evening. Will take more tonight.
Broke down and having tea too. The water flavor is just too much.
The lower back pain has been come and go, so I decided to investigate.
It’s way too low for kidneys, and it’s basically around the whole hips and lower back.
I was elated to come across a reference from our beloved Dr. Fung.
Basically fasts longer than 72 hours can cause a whole replacement of the immune system and an abundance of white blood cells. This comes from the bone marrow - which is most prevalent in guess where?
So I will embrace it as a good pain atm.
I found another forum where loads of people had the same issue.
I also read on the interwebs not to freak out unless the pain goes past 6 weeks.
I’m not crippled - and the pain comes and goes.
I have a lot of fat burning going on and I suspect I’m back into some of that visceral stuff and the last thing I want to do is interrupt that.
Had to investigate the whole perimenopause thing while I was at it and that too may be contributing.
Taking extra supplements as a precaution for now.

Went to about 5 different stores today for tools and found a thrift store with some size 10 shorts for 3$.
My 14’s are getting loose sooner than I expected. Or at least the ones I’m wearing today. They were hanging low in the hardware store.
I still can grab the belly roll. I will feel done when that is gone. So although I have my goal that may adjust as I get closer.
Happy I’m attempting this 21 day now because there’s no other time on the calendar to fit it with the holidays.
