Theres taurine in there and it makes me very hyper.

So that was Friday, Saturday I had a bag of steamed Brussels with parm cheese and butter, and yesterday I feasted as friends came to visit and it gave me the opportunity to cook a couple of things. Had cocktails again. Bacon wrapped jalapeno, cream cheese stuffed mushrooms, ribs, and a few bites of store bought macaroni salad (neighbor picked that one). Ate that Cadbury egg out of my fridge last night :rofl:. Wasn’t even hungry at that point but felt compelled to get rid of it.

This morning I’m back down to 189.5!

Fasting this week with a slight dirty protocol.

Will stick to water for the most part.

Going to be taking some supplements this week as well. Makes me feel more confident with silly virus still around.

Out of black and green tea bags so shopping for those today.

I don’t think I can do 5:2 fasting…Mon-Fri fast, weekends OMAD. I will just do these longer extended fasts, until I am close to my goal weight, then I will do 48 hour fasts, and one refeed, until I get to my goal. Afterwards, I will do OMAD, because that is just easy, and not a biggie, and once a week, a 48 hour, as a way of life. I am 62 years old, so it is not like I need a lot of food.
I miss cream in my morning coffee. I might do that, later, after these extended fasts, as the cream does blunt hunger, doesn’t it? Slow and steady, we will reach our goals!

I was down at the neighbor apartment last night and there was some salad left over I knew he wasn’t going to finish (from friends visiting) so I had that last night with some roasted chicken. Very clean meal. It was a very low calorie low carb day.

Did my coffee with cream this morning and back to just water and ice tea for today. Going for a full Fasting day.

Scale held steady at 189.5 again this morning. Looks like OMAD would help me maintain at this point.

Really pleased about that and my head is wanting to have another catapult forward. Going to focus on fasting better the next couple of days.

This is size 14 new (out of season) shorts that just came in the mail. Just tried them on. They have a little cotton rayon poly spandex blend. Snug but was shocked to button! I may pin them to the wall. Another mere 10-15 lbs and they will be there. The shorts I’m in now are stretched out 16’s and not sure how much life they have left.

But as anyone can see it’s the belly still there.

It used to feel like I was drowning in it up past the beginning of my rib cage but now I’m beginning to feel a flattening on the ribs and stuff is shifting around.

Good morning!

Broke my fast at the 48 hour mark last night and resumed 9pm.

Wasn’t hungry, was more of a pity meal for my neighbor. He thought another neighbor was going to have a meal with him but he bailed. He’d got a whole charcoal grill going for pork burgers and there was going to be a lot of waste.

My Avocado is no longer under the Christmas tree :rofl:. Finished off kimchee and had a plain pork burger no bun.

Still 187.

Very not hungry now and feeling annoyed with my stomach.

186.5 yippee! And we are Fasting today yippee!

Finished dinner much later than I’d hoped for but it took a long time to make. Also I had 2 cocktails in the process.
Next eat day is Tuesday.

Although part of me is thinking, wouldn’t it be cool to fast until I see a certain weight and then get an eat day. Hmm. Going to stick with Tuesday Saturday eating for next 2 weeks first.just getting more anxious now to get to next level.

I’m happy about sustaining right now. That it can’t all be water weight.

So my shorts fit when I put them on but are all stretched out after a couple hours. I have stretchy shorts for the meantime, will need to find another clothing source soon.

Almost done today!

I’m going to sit my rear end in place and break tomorrow at 9am. That will actually be a 2.5 day fast.

Then going to cut the stickie in half. :rofl:

I really don’t want to break so late tonight. Looking forward to a good weigh in tomorrow.

Got broth going in the crock for tomorrow. Did it down stairs at neighbor apartment so I can drive him nuts with the aroma🤣.

Feast day is over and back to fasting.

So full! I spread it out and was all good stuff, and not huge portions, but holy cow. Started to feel like a chore. Just want to make sure I get nutrients back in on refeeds. Just feel like sleeping.

Still awake. I think I over did it on the green tea.

Sitting on the wood chair out side my door.

I feel my butt bones. The extra cushion is diminishing.

Neighbor slapped my butt early just horsing around and yeah, it hurt. :joy:

Need to probably start doing some walking. Was in Sam’s club this last week, and it’s such a huge store and indoors from the extreme heat - started thinking I should go there for my morning walk. Just walk around the store about 20 times a day.

I really am starting to feel my stomach going down.

Going to play some candy crush and see if I can lull myself to sleep.

I admire how objective you are about your refeeds, as in you plan them well in advance and are careful about your portions. One thing I need to work on is preparing my refeeds with more careful deliberation, so thank you for journaling this.

Hurray! I am feeling my tummy go down, too. Also, the extra flesh around my neck, that tried to strangle me, if I laid on my back in bed, is gone completely. I still have a ways to go, but I am on my way, and so are you! Well done, Jill!!!

Yeppers! 23 days left of Fasting for my Fall challenge.

186 today. I was liberal with the salts yesterday so I’m sure this is going to dump back off swiftly.

Having some morning coffee but as soon as it’s done going pure water the rest of today.

Wearing a size XL t-shirt today and it has wiggle room! Woohoo!

After a week of debating myself I will get the laundry done today :rofl:.

Next feast day is Saturday. Would love to see 182 on the thinner scale by then. I think that is achievable. It’s another hot one today.
