So, after 5 days of freezing cold symptoms and having to wear countless layers just to stay warm, I started looking more into it and I found out another cause is low thyroid. Although I would love to just believe that its just my fat stores burning up, I don’t think that is always the case for everyone especially if you are susceptible to other symptoms like hair loss, fatigue, and cold extremities.
I started taking lugol solution iodine in my water and that has helped tremendously. I thought I would share because if your thyroid isn’t strong, you are diminishing your weight loss potential if that is your focus and quality of your fast. I don’t have to sit around freezing 24/7 now!!! Happy fasting everyone!
