I have been more active on the Facebook group and decided to join the forum . I had my last meal on the 25th of October at 7.30 pm and started my fast at 8pm. 206+ hours of 720 down and I am more than determined to see this to day 30.

Days 1- 8 was a mixture of lethargy, fatigue, weakness and bouts of energy here and there. My fasting fluids from day 1 has been water with electrolytes (2L of water, 1/2tsp of pink salt (Sodium), 1 tsp of no salt (potassium), and 1/2tsp of food grade epsom salt(magnesium), plain carbonated (soda) water with Lime slices and ACV. These have really helped me through the days.

I know I can do this.

Done with day 9 and on to day 10. I had so much energy today. Had my first workout(2.5 mile walk) since I started to fast. Taking it easy. I pray this energy lasts till day 30. #FastingForward

Which days do you think were the hardest for you?

Hi from day 3 to day 8. My glycogen stores were getting depleted and I was mostly weak, very fatigued and lethargic. No headaches though. By nightfall of day 9, I had this burst of energy. I am back to my normal self and have been able to workout and do things. No weakness or fatigue. I have to say electrolytes and acv have been a tremendous help so far

I have to add that I have gone into Ketosis. An effect to this that I do not like is the rash associated with it. Noticed it on day 9 on my inner arms and thighs. I hope it clears .

It’s 6.17am WAT here. 226hours in and the body is now in ketosis. I am very clear minded and I feel good although I have been sleeping an average of 4-5hours since I started fasting. BP is also okay. My cycle was supposed to commence on the 2rd of Nov but nothing yet. As usual with this time of the month, I am bloated and holding on to a bit of water. Also dealing with ‘keto rash’. I am treating with aloe vera gel and coconut oil. Have a great day.

Day 11 - It’s 5.53am WAT and 9hrs 53mins into day 11. Still going strong.

Checked my BP (108/75) , blood glucose (58).

Mental clarity - great
Mood - great
Energy - great

Also noticed the white coating on my tongue has reduced. Walked for 45minutes yesterday. Will put in some light walking later in the day.

Day 12 and 13.2 lbs down. Still going strong. Monthly cycle started yesterday and it’s been smooth sailing. I have been having the sensation of a bowel movement waiting to happen. Some face gains. See any difference?

That’s a HUGE change! Your face is much more thin, you look great :slight_smile:

It’s day 13. Almost halfway through. Thankful for the energy I have. I am thinking of doing an enema. This constant sensation of a bowel movement waiting to happen is driving me nuts. I am also bloated. I have had only one BM in the last 13 days.
