Had chicken bone broth, and a tiny slice of avocado to break my fast. Feeling great. So glad I’ve done it, and glad it’s over too. Was really hard trying to fast while my fiancé was making her delicious dinners every night.

Wanted to check in and see how your refeed went and how everything is currently going?

Hi @Kyle, just got back from a holiday in the east coast of South Africa, in a section called the “Transkei”

My refeed went well, although I had either made my kimchi too spicy, or I had it too early ie. 3rd day of refeed? My stomach wasn’t ready for it. :rofl:

Other than that, it took about a week to 10 days to get my strength back. Ran a proper 8km at pace about a week after refeed started. It felt really good. Being 11.5kg, or 25lbs lighter makes a huge difference too.
I picked up 1.5kg/4pounds within the first few days of refeed but it has now plateaued at 74kg/160pounds from the initial 85.9kg/188.9lbs.

Back on OMAD now.

I feel good in general, and will do the 21day (water only) fast once a year, with three 7 or 10 day fasts for the rest of the year.

I could see myself doing this kind of thing for future maintenance.

I just started a 21 yesterday - but right now I’m still in weightloss mode. I know it can have cleansing benefits, but it’ll be nice when I’m actually doing it for primarily that reason next year.

I’m prepping a kimchi batch today. You have me wondering if I should go light in the spice.
