I scheduled my colonoscopy on the tail end of a 2 week fast. I was thinking having an empty colon would help with the colonoscopy. Are there any issues with that? I know how 2 fast and have done month long fasts in the past.

I’ve done this for every one I’ve done bar the 1st when I used their prep and protocol and fasting has by far always been more effective and less anxiety inducing for me.
I wouldn’t suggest general anaesthea while fasted… That hits you hard
