I have suffered from ulcers and digestive disbiosis for 10 years. have fasted several times in the 7-9 day range. always helps but my problems were to severe and a slight mistake like food minorly under or overcooked or wrong ingredients and same pain. Fasting can definitely help and your problem is likely much less severe than mine
I’ve had a gastroscopy and they said I have severe inflammation but no ulcer or pylori bacteria.
I’m guessing that can’t be as bad as having ulcers but am very restricted in what I can eat without my symptoms getting a lot worse.
I am going to try a 7-10 day vast and see how it affects me.
My appetite is non existent and I sort of just get faint if I don’t eat but not hungry… this probably makes it a lot easier for us to fast than a normal person
