None of the existing categories seem to fit so I thought I’d just stick all of this stuff here.
I work hard at making sure all the stuff I take positions on are science based. But, what exactly does that mean? For myself, its making sure that the research isn’t biased due to being funded by a large pharmaceutical company or “junk food” company. Additionally, I look to research scientists that appear to be well respected by their peers.
This first entry is a podcast by Dr. Peter Attia. I first came across him through watching an interview with him on the Joe Rogen Experience podcast, followed up by one of his TedTalk presentations and several other YouTube interviews. One of the things I noted is while many of the YouTube “health” proponents are sponsored or are pushing their own programs, Dr Attia relies on his clientele based in NYC and San Diego and offering tiered membership pricing on his website to access to his exclusive content. Anyway, that’s my bar for those whose content I want to get behind.
