Today I really feel like I ate too much, even though I totally ate a normal amount. Iām just soooooo full. And my blood glucose isnāt happy either. Iāll have to check it in the morning to see if itās better.
Went to bed with a 97 BG.
Woke up BG was 104, itās currently 87, I probably didnāt give it long enough after sleeping. Today Iām also having some electrolytes from DR berg. So Iām keeping a close watch on my BG. My BP is 124/70. This is getting better slowly. Less than 50 pounds to go. Iām excited! And Iām very much in ketosis according to my urine strip. Today is a fasting day again. Tomorrow is eating day. Not sure yet what Iāll have, Iām making my husband some Tuscan crockpot chicken so I know that will be on the menu. Iāve also got a frozen piece of salmon I made a while ago, and a half of a steak that I didnāt finish yesterday. Well that was simple. Lol
Tested BG an hour or so ago. It was 79 I think? Maybe lower I canāt remember
This picture is for everyone doing keto that thinks veggies and berries arenāt okay. Donāt cut healthy vitamin packed foods from your diet. Keto isnāt simply meat and cheese. Iāve had carrots, yes carrots, twice today, as well as at least a cup worth of berries. This is my normal style of keto. Eat vegetables. Enjoy normal amounts of berries. Itās okay guys.

Yeah⦠I was. Iām not right now. Iāve been doing keto still but no fasting. Gained 8 pounds back. So lost a whole week fast progress. Probably wonāt hit my target this month. Iām upset. For one reason or another fasting has seemed impossible this week for me.
This is such a marathon. I do NOT like the treadmill in the gym. Everything else but the treadmill. I cannot control my thoughts as I run⦠and run⦠and runā¦
There is some lady at the gym I attend that just runs like crazy. I donāt get it.
Iām pretty sure our extra weight is a by-product of the straying of our thoughts. I swear, Iām always glad I come on here!!!
I actually love the treadmill but not for running. I like to watch something of some sort and walk and walk and walk. I would spend all day walking on a treadmill if I could. But running. Running is difficult and is my absolute least favorite thing to do.
I need to get back on track. Iām going to attempt to fast Saturday and Sunday, as well as start an exercise exercise routine.
You know, that is an EXCELLENT idea . I have GREAT news. I just got an official notice that my blood pressure will be measured for my occupation purposes in early March. This is JUST what I needed to get back on track. A deadline. Iām going to start the treadmill by walking and relaxing. Walk and relax. Then, hopefully Iāll slowly increase the pace and focus on relaxing.
So, I want to know how a Keto cheesecake worked out for you. Would you say it was a treat, or would you more describe it as a portal into Indulgence.
Deadlines always make it easier to get on track and do the things we are supposed to do. And definitely as a portal into indulgence for me. Something I will not be able to eat often because I apparently cannot get back on track thanks to having had it⦠My week fast was wasted at this point.
Itās decided. 4 days on 1 day off and repeat for the rest of the month. Coffee with cream allowed maybe broth.
Well the first 4 days went well. Probably over did it today a bit but not tooooo terrible I hope. Stuck to keto refeed. So we shall see.

That last day slight tick up chaps my hide. I made a SLIGHT change and it turned me the opposite direction.
I canāt just lose weight. Iāve got to be trying new and different things out at the same time. And without CLOSE scrutiny Iāve suddenly swallowed andā No!!!---- itās too late. I WILL have a good weekend. You too.
Your results look about as good as mine. Iām debating coffee only fasting for the remainder of the month. Iām annoyed that overnight after a refeed I went up 3 pounds. Which I find highly ridiculous. I kept keto. So I donāt know why I gained sooooo much. My best bet is itās the weight of the food still in my body. But I realllllly need to be under 200 to be on track. So maybe Iāll break with an omad refeed day instead of an entire refeed day. On day 5. Then rinse and repeat. I dunno. 10 days doesnāt sound like a bad idea to me. Not really.
Sorry Iām thinking out loud here. Iām the same way I canāt just lose weight and keep the course. I have to experiment. I do know I definitely drank too much coffee that first week. 3 cups per day. I also know I had keto candy yesterday and now Iām in trace ketosis. So thereās that too. Ugh
Keto candy, smh. How do we get so wrapped up in the hope of eating all we want and staying slim? Look at this pie!!!
Some how I was convinced I could make a Keto version of Pecan Pie!!!
That is the biggest pie Iāve ever seen. Over 4 cups of pecans, Almond flour, butter, heavy cream⦠massive! Itās still in the freezer. Iām allowed one bite a day. Not one piece. One bit!! Iāve loaded that freezer with keto this, and keto that. But I have not ever reached my ideal body weight!
That looks absolutely amazing. Iād kill my keto with that currently having a keto milkshake⦠Starting 7 day fast tomorrow.
