Day 12. Still pushing forward. Recovering well from the Lasik too. After the initial burning, things are well, and I can see fine.

Day 5 going on Day 6 in 4 hours. Keeping myself busy with projects and chores. But also taking quiet breaks to read and journal.

Very common to have SUPER vivid dreams of eating/breaking fast/binging :joy: and then feeling very sad! Happens almost every time we extended fast! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Keep it up - good sign hahaha!

Hope to stay motivated. Loved different colors stickers idea. Joining tonight. We’ll see how it’s going. My goal is to get back to my pre-injury shape which I am struggling with as can’t exercise the way I used to…

Day 13!!
I woke up feeling dizzy, which lasted for about a half hour. I got a little worried but realized that I was very dehydrated. Drank water with salt and now I’m cruising! I’m still in awe that I broke my record of 6 days and now I’m about to make it to the 2week mark. Whaaaaat?!? Can you believe it you guys??

I’m still pressing on. Staying motivated by doing my craft, reading, and chores.
I also enjoyed the weather today and took a walk around my neighborhood.

Day 7 half way done… just checked the scale and 10 lbs down in total😄…

It would take a month of workout and diet for me… 10 more lbs to cut to get into a healthy BMR… This was the most serious fasting commitment I had ever done before… Cause I didn’t crave for anything this time other than my electrolytes and Himalayan salt…rather I felt petty for those who are having food and never done fasting in their life before​:rofl::rofl:

But the problem with my fasting is that I’m quite dizzy… So not able to focus more on my studies… My Normal output has quite decreased… Not able to solve complicated maths at an ease like earlier… My brain gets stuck some times…

So I’m planning to refeed myself for the next 7days with some soup or super low carb Keto juice/meal… I just want to stay in ketosis and at the same time wanna study hard as my CPA Final exams are due…

IM SO PROUD OF YOU!! Im following your footsteps - the longest fast I have done was 8 days. Now I am on a Day 3 and I want to go for 21 days. So Universe/Nature/God/everyone please send me strength and believe in myself!!

You GO GIRL!! I’m on Day 3 and mixing in walking/yoga/running with fasting the results are incredible (I know its water weight as well butI still love and take it any time!!). I can‘t stop touching my body - it always happen when I fast. My body is changing and I‘m loving it - the waist is back and my flexibility increases as I continue fasting. It‘s fascinating!!

Hi Miri, I have on whack that works for me. I monitor my ketones and blood glucose daily when I on an extended fast. If my blood sugar goes below 50 (danger zone) and it did go as low as 35, I take a good spoonful of nut butter (Peanut, almond) or sesame paste (tahini). These have to be 100% natural with no added sugars. So that‘s basically fat and some protein, no carbs. Works everything to pull my blood glucose (over 50 is safe to stay fasted) and does not break the fast I believe as it should not trigger insulin response (or very little). I sometimes take a spoonful of nut butter before sleep when fasted as well if I had a rough night previously and need to work/perform the next day. It is a hack but it keeps me fasted and safe (I check my blood sugar after). This may be an alternative to breaking a fast and starting again, as starting is a b*tch!! I prefer to stay fasted but also to stay safe. Xxx

Great idea! Unfortunately I did not have one handy at that moment.

I did break my fast, choosing the safety of my son over continuing the fast …

But. Started yesterday again, 17 hours into my first day, so now I am joining you guys again!

I did just weigh myself, did gain a kilo through the 3 day refeeding and actually, I am feeling pretty ok with that!

I, myself am surprised i reached it this far.
But here I am. STRONG AND not quitting any time soon. I’ve come this far to start over.
