Hi I am relatively new to the fasting lifestyle. The longest fast Iāve ever done is two days. I always quit at the 2-3 days mark. Hopefully I will go beyond that in April. Iām thinking of doing a 3 or 4 day fast only. I will like to slowly build up to longer time periods or if I feel alright I will continue.

Iād like to fast but not for 21 days. Rather 4 to 7. Iām working my way up to the full 21. So weāre starting April 1st?
Hi Ranjeeta! I just joined this site looking to find a community to fast with. I havenāt joined a conventional forum like this in YEARSā¦lol itās nice to be here and I will be joining you on the fast. I am 32 and not a professional fasterā¦but have done a 21 day fast (years ago! I posted elsewhere it was 5 years since my 21 day fast but i was mistakenā¦I havenāt fasted since college. I forget how fast time fliesā¦!!)

Yaassss! We got this. Iām drinking black coffee this morning. Are you doing straight up water only? or drinking coffee tooā¦? I am not a fan of waterā¦lol I used to beā¦but itās hard to get downā¦I canāt stand itā¦so I am hoping this helps me drink more water and stay better hydrated after this is done. And get me into the habit of drinking more water daily.

Finished my day 1ā¦successfully
My starting weight was 150lbs or 67 kgs
Although this time i will not weigh myself everyday.
Planning to weigh after seven days.
Todayās day was not that tough⦠Because there was no hunger but my cravings were killing me⦠My mind was playing tricks with me⦠But i stayed strong ā¦
Starting day 2ā¦wish me luck
OMG. I feel like I canāt go a day without coffee. I get headaches if I do not drink it. Maybe I can try green tea tomorrow morning instead of coffeeā¦and see how that goes! lol I am only doing this fast bc Iām working from home and quarantined in Brooklyn, NY. Where are you located? how is all this going for you and your fam?!
Everybody is in same condition globally right now⦠I am in India and we have a complete lock down for next few weeks⦠Thatās why I found it the best time as I m also working from home⦠So it becomes comparatively easierfor me to fast⦠Letās find better versions of ourselves in this time⦠All the best⦠Donāt quit⦠Stay strong⦠U can do it
Day 2 is about to end⦠But really struggling
New to this. Found by accident watching YouTube. I started a water fast March 31st, also an accident, and wanted to see if I continued, what to expect. Soooooo happy to find you! Day 2 over and Iām looking forward to tomorrow. Evening cravings SUCKED, having to cook for the fam was nearly my undoing.

I am NOT new to dry or water fasting.
I am looking for an accountability
partner(s). The longest I have water fasted was for 17-18 days and dry fasted was for 6 days. I would love to do a 5 week water fast⦠I am excited to be here and ready to start on 4/3/2020.

Hi Iām Ashley! So happy to join this community and educating myself about all the wonderful benefits of fasting and seeing everyoneās progress. I will be fasting for the month on April not sure how long I will go since the longest Iāve fasted for was 6 days. I started on March 30th for the day of fasting and prayer and have decided to continue on so here is Day 4! I did do Keto the week before so I feel the transition was easy. Feeling pretty good so far I do drink a cup of black coffee in the morning, have sparkling water and salt if need be. Iām will be still exercising during this time. Going to see how long I can make it! First goal is 7 days and if I can keep going then 10 days! Good luck to everyone and keep yourself safe and healthy!!
