Yasemin’s Journal - Getting to goal by 2020

Dear Water Fasting Forum,

It’s my time to write my goals down and take the second part of my journey seriously… I recently felt a bit overwhelmed with work, all the trade shows working 12 days non-stop with no days off and all my daily vlogging recently! Sometimes stress gets the most of us, and I did a refeed yesterday and ended up eating a little too much. I know it showed a moment of weakness, and I’m usually very disciplined but this is a learning experience and I choose not to be upset. It just shows that I’m human just like everyone else and we all have ups and downs! :sparkling_heart:

I want to show everyone here how we take our mistakes, and bounce back harder than we’ve ever bounced back before to achieve our goals regardless of the rollercoaster that life may take us through and the obstacles we may face! I told everyone on my channel that I will take a couple days off of the daily vlogs just to regroup, think of new content and get my mind back in gear!

What is my goal? I want to fit in my boyfriend’s pants by January 2020 and hit my goal of 145lbs by then.

A couple of days ago I took my “before” photos in my boyfriend’s pants, and I want to fit into them by 2020 so here is my progress journal to get there and I want it all to be open to the public so we can see day by day what it takes to get there! :sparkling_heart:

Day 1
I started my fast yesterday evening after the “refeed” I had, made some bad choices. As I am writing this post, I have already made it through my first complete day 1. I didn’t have time to really even think about it since I was at work all day and just came home.

Day 2
It is now past 7pm which means day 2 has just started, I weighed in at an unfortunate 164.5 lbs (oops). It’s important to remember how much the scale fluctuates, and if you drink a lot of water before weighing yourself as I did, it can be a lot higher than the true number. This is why I highly recommend using clothing or measurements to track progress IN ADDITION to using the scale as a tool. I was feeling a bit antsy, and I wanted to test my body to see what happens if I do a small very lightweight workout so I just completed a small 30 min light weight workout (chest/tris).

Happy Fasting to anyone who’s on day 1. It’s time for my comeback! I am also currently drinking a “Tangerine & Wild Strawberry” San Pellegrino (the unsweetened ones with zero calories and ZERO sweetener (no sucralose, etc.). Wish me luck on my little light weight workout! <3

Good luck!! This is a lifestyle where we will have some bumps in the road. I know you will reach you goal!! Regroup and get back to being focus.

Day 2
8am Weigh In: 163.8 lbs
Still on day 2 - woke up nice and early! The sun is out, feeling good! Was definitely a good idea to regroup and start over! Some times your mind isn’t programmed and you need to step back, regroup and start over! :pray: I’ll be back at filming my vlogs this weekend!! :heart_eyes::sparkling_heart:

I’m still so proud of you. Sometimes its good to listen to your body…your words to me when i broke my fast after 8 days. You have also been doing a lot of back to back fasts so I can understand.

Today I am feeling really tired, sleepy, I fell asleep in class. However, I am not hungry but I feel I need energy to do all my activities (study, light work out, sleep, etc…) today I could still fasting but I need energy to performance everything very efficiently so I will do 2 refeeds per week (OMAD in the middle of the week and Sunday).
I will break my fast tonight, I want to try this method :blush::muscle:

Yes, I guess the best way I can describe it is “you win some, you lose some!” So now I’m finishing up day 2 and feeling much stronger and more rested than when I started the fast last time! Mentally regrouped! Also doing the trade shows back to back and then working 12 days non-stop and vlogging every day just overwhelmed me this time! Feeling re-energized now! :sparkling_heart::heart_eyes:

It is the way that I found to be on track and reach my goals. I ate very healthy in my refeeding, thank to God :pray:

Day 2
6pm Weigh-In: 162.9 lbs

Day 2 is finishing up in an hour I’m at 162.9 lbs. Thinking that time of month is coming soon! Can’t wait until I have some time on Friday to start filming again! :pray::sparkling_heart: No hunger, No side effects, no headaches, nothing just very determined to get to goal! About to drink another unsweetened carbonated water this evening! :sparkling_heart: Hope everyone is enjoying their fasting today!

Day 3, here I come!

Went shopping today and decided to try on a coat just for fun (didn’t buy it) but I wanted to try some on because I need a new winter coat soon! It was crazy because I fit in a size “small” it was US 6… totally mind blown. The lady showed it to me and I said there’s no way it will fit and she said “yes it will” and I guess mentally I haven’t clicked into my new size yet. Still sometimes feel like the 225lb girl! :heart_eyes::sparkling_heart: Feeling pretty happy right now!

I didn’t buy it - but now I’m excited to go winter coat shopping for once!

Thank you!! Next to my frumpy little boots :joy: My boyfriend got the ugg boots for me last year but my calves shrunk so now they flop right over :joy: Definitely inspired to go buy a red coat and some new boots eventually!! :heart_eyes:
