Water Fasting Journal and Challenge

Hi! I’m new to this forum and have just started on this 7 day water fasting journey!
Hopefully clocking in here daily ensures that I am always on track and persevere on! I’ve done fasting till 68 hours but can’t quite manage past that…
Starting out today at 1pm, GMT+8

Goals to achieve:

  1. Lose at least 3kg
  2. Fit into my work pants
  3. Enhance willpower

Man, I had some gastric issues so I had to stop fasting… But I managed to take some medicine and am feeling much better.
While I feel sad, I understand that we should fail forward.
Am restarting my 7 day water fast today at 9 June, 10pm GMT+8, and will end on 15 June.

I really hope I can lose at least 4kg.
I followed Yasemin’s advice and wrote down my goals.

Goals:

  1. Lose 4kg (52.5 to 48.5kg) - I used to weigh a lot less
  2. Get healthy and stop thinking about food so that I can cure my bloating… My bloating is really bad…
  3. Fit into my work pants and be a transformed new me
  4. Train willpower to be a better person

I really hope this water fast helps in detoxing and kicking my sugar addiction and cravings!

I am now at 51.5kg and hope to stay strong and lose at least 2kg more! We can do it!

I am now at 50.3kg and have re-started my fasting window… Have joined the 7 day water fast group call on 11 June and hope I can persevere!

Sometimes I feel sleepy and my tummy keeps grumbling but I’ll try my best!

Today I am re-starting my water fasting 5 day plan!
Start weight: 50.8kg

Been really busy these few days and lacked sleep, so I fell out of the plan the past week… Hope I can survive and persevere!

Now is the start of a new 7 day challenge! I’ve signed up for the 13 Aug Challenge till 19 Aug, but am starting 1 day earlier on 12 Aug, 10.30pm GMT+8.

These few days, the stress crept up and I gained quite a bit of weight…

Goals:

  1. Lose 4kg
  2. Get healthy and stop thinking about food, quit sugar addiction, cure bloating
  3. Fit into my work pants
  4. Improve mental clarity
  5. Prove to my family the health benefits of water fasting! My family’s quite traditional, esp. my mum who keeps saying that it’s impossible to function without food and there will be a sore lack of nutritional benefits, so she keeps trying to shove food to me.

Anyway, I really hope to prove myself and stay focus and on track!

Today I’ve completed Day 2 of my water fast journey!

My tummy growled a bit today, but it’s not so bad, probably cause I’ve got plenty of fat stores and I was focused on getting some work done today!

It’s the weekend and I usually struggle cause my sis always ask me if I want to order in or share food with her which I always refuse… It’s a lonely and hard journey when there’s little support from my family but I’ll strive and get through it… Day 3 here I come!

It’s Day 3 and I’m feeling hungry… I saw my weight drop and probably it’s water weight but it’s motivating to see that I’ve dropped around 1kg… Must maintain the momentum! Stay positive and keep going!
