TH Day 1 bone broth / water fast

Today is my first day of my fast. I don’t know how long it will be, but I’m going to try to go as long as I can. I realize having a clear goal and destination makes it easier to stick with it, but I’m simply not sure about the duration. I had originally planned to do it for a full week, guess I’m doubting myself a bit. My main goal is to let my digestive system rest. It’s a little screwed up at the moment. I’ve lost 3 pounds since yesterday though I realize it’s all water weight - but I’m not complaining.

Day 2 has gone alright. I’m super low energy but that’s to be expected. My diet wasn’t the best before I started this. Good news is that i survived and hope to keep going. I will give you more updates on my weight tomorrow.

Welp, I broke my fast today. I was so weak this morning that I just didn’t think I could make it through work without falling over. I’m sure that sounds lame, but it’s the truth…guess I’d better start with intermittent fasting and work my way up to a longer one. I think I could tackle two days a week, maybe not consecutive days.
