Tahra fasting journey

Hi everyone I’ve jus had my last meal tday just going to have a cup tea and then at 6pm I will start my fasting journey! I have to to do this because ryt now I weigh 190lbs my goal is 130 I am aiming for 21 days wish me luck!! And thanks to everyone who has joined this journey let’s do this!

Good luck on your journey! I’m right here with you and doing my best to get on track. I failed last night but trying to have a better outlook. I am so tired of constantly putting things off, and it sounds like you are right there with me. We can do this!!! You don’t need luck. You can do this.

Hi everyone I’m on day 2 n I’m still vomiting up water! It’s crazy coz I’ve not eaten for 2 days I was fine through out the day now I jus added abit pink salt bcoz I was feeling lightheaded I think it’s the salts making me sick from now I think il avoid salts altogether and just stick with water! I had to have a small refeed lost 4lbs in 2 days awesome but I’m back on it now let’s do this again sorry guys I feel like I’ve let the group dwn.

You aren’t letting anyone down. This is for you. This is your journey. We are all here for each other. If you fall get back up, dust yourself off, and keep going on your journey to the finish line. How you get there doesn’t really matter. Just get there and finish strong, and don’t hurt yourself along the way. You are doing great. I’m sorry to hear you are struggling with keeping water down. Maybe consider getting some Ensure, Gatorade, or something on the days where you are throwing up if you need to. Also, if you are wanting to try to settle your stomach but to stay on your fast, you could always try some diet ginger ale. While it is not “water” it won’t undo your progress and may help settle your stomach. Also, I find that I drink a TON of seltzer waters… flavored but no sugar added… just water, carbonation, and natural flavors. This significantly helps me keep my stomach feeling full and settled. Whatever you do, don’t think about you disappointing anyone. This is for you. Everyone has had to take a few steps forward and backward. I convinced myself on the end of day 1 that I should wait… I broke my fast… a few hours later felt so disappointed and down, I decided I needed to get up and continue on. So that’s what I did. At first I felt embarrassed I didn’t achieve my goal and talked myself out of it so damn quick, but I realized no one faults me for it other than myself. I have to allow myself to succeed and I have to do this for me… me and no one else. If I fall or stumble, I’ll get up and keep going. I will finish my 21 day journey. I hope you will finish with me! :smiley:

Yeah thanks u doing great urself let’s do this I so want to do 21 days but it’s a struggle going to pass this stage n keep going, I’ve got about 60lbs to lose. Ryt now I’m 5’8 190lbs tats overweight for my height thought il join this forum and challenge myself to do 21 days but starting again tmrw c wat happens! Thanku so much for ur support.

I tried mixing Himalayan salt with water. I didn’t like the taste. Now I just dab a wet finger in my Himalayan salt a couple of times and lick it off. So I just drink straight water. It works for me.

Thanks il try that to I will b jus drinking plain water from now on black coffee here n there lol and try what u do with salt, thanks again for the tip, I’m really enjoying this forum all of us in it tgeather

I’ve been putting my salt in my coffee… completely masks the flavor and don’t even know it is there. I can’t do the salt water either. I’m just not a fish no matter how hard I try to be. :smiley:
