Swetha daily journal - water fasting challenge round 7

That’s a great change already. I have scale which weighs in kgs. For a minute, I got confused if it’s showing kgs or pounds…
But it’s kgs. 2 kgs is 4.4 pounds. I feel more motivated to complete my 2 Nd day of fasting.

Hurray, congratulations! I decided, with this present fast (day 6 of a 21 day fast), I would NOT weigh myself until the last day, because my mood was dependent on the scale. And I really want to concentrate on health! I just really realized, in the last past days, that I have a very distorted body image, and even when my body weighed 63 kg., I felt fat. Now, when I see photos of me at that weight, I see a very slim body. I decided yesterday, that I would LOVE my body, encourage it with words of love, and force myself to look in the mirror and love whatever I saw in the mirror. I had a gorgeous Yoga Teacher, who was obviously very overweight, and she exuded self confidence, feminine allure, and was plain sexy. I decided to use her as a role model for me.
See you tonight in the Zoom call. Again, well done! You are on your way! BTW, How are your leg aches, and back pain? I had painful right knee ache until yesterday, so I know fasting works!!!

I notice the water retention goes from the feet first. Feet lookand feel leaner. hehhe

Today I’m 77.3kgs. I hope now the water weight has gone. Feel I cud lose more weight soon but it doesn’t work like that. U can put on weight weight fast but losing takes consistent efforts.
With the help of the group support I will soon achieve.
Short term goal is 70 kgs and
Goal weight is 60 kgs.

Yep, that’s exactly how it works. Can’t get around that the 1st 3 days are “water weight” losses as we exhaust our glycogen stores. It’s the reason I do the 21-days so get the best ROI in my time investment.

Omg 21 days is really great. I broke my fast at the end of 5th day. It’s real difficult for me. I was unwell too. Anyway now that I have ate, it’s over now and will start afresh again.

You mentioned the ache in your legs. Are you taking electrolytes? That might be a reason and a solution.
