I am doing okay. Sorry I went silent. I was so busy didn’t even remember to update 
But am doing okay. Didn’t even stick to Omad throughout.
Don’t think I will be able to do Omad or fast this week too.
I have a lot am doing and moving a lot. But after this week, things will have settled down and I can get back on track

I had a small procedure 2 weeks ago and since then I have had an upper respiratory infection, it was getting better the last few days and then yesterday got worse again so it might be bacteria. I need to take a bit of time off because of my existing condition as well as this infection.
I will check back in 2 weeks, I am hoping to feel better by then.
So, do what you need to and get some rest. I will check from time to time for messages from you. Chat around the 23rd of Feb.

I will be back soon. Even if we are not active on here for a couple of weeks, let’s be careful with our diets so we don’t put on weight, this is still our year, just a few bumps along the way but we are overcomers in Christ. 



Hi, how are you? I hope things have settled down a bit for you.
I’ve just finished my antibiotics and I’m over the worst of it. I still have a few lingering symptoms, but overall I feel like I’m moving in the right direction.
I’ve been putting together a plan and wanted to see if you’d like to join me. I’m thinking of doing a 10-day fast starting Monday 23rd March (last meal Sunday night), finishing on 1st April at dinnertime. That way, you can still enjoy Good Friday and Easter.
After that, I’d love to do a 21-day fast post-Easter. If we take a few days beforehand to go low-carb, we could start around the 8th or 9th and run through to the end of April. Then, after a short break, we could do another 14-day fast, as I have an event on 23rd May. We can fine-tune the dates closer to the time.
For now, would you be up for the 10-day fast starting 23rd March? No pressure at all—but it would be great to do it together. If you’re in, we can start easing into low-carb from now until then.

YES! I am interested in the long fasts. I have been wanting to do a long fast since I did one last year.
The plan you explained sounds good to me. Alternating these long fasts may be what we just need to heal and speed up this weight loss.
I will start restoking my groceries with low carb options and get ready to go

That sounds like a plan—I’m really glad to hear you’re doing well too.
I’m not sure if the Instagram link above will work, but it’s about water fasting. My approach will include supplements like magnesium and ACV, along with tea and coffee (no added calories). I’ve also come across mushroom coffee with no added sugar, which can be helpful during fasting—might be worth trying if it appeals to you.
If cravings get tough, one option mentioned in the link is adding a teaspoon of MCT oil to water.

MCT oil can really help with managing hunger and maintaining energy levels, which is why it’s often preferred over something like olive oil in this context. That said, if it’s not for you, any healthy oil can work as an alternative.
As for mushroom coffee, it’s actually better than I expected. I usually like my coffee quite strong, so I mix it with regular coffee. I was hesitant at first since I don’t like mushrooms, but I came across a clip where someone said it helped them sustain longer fasts and supported weight loss—that convinced me to give it a try.
You can also get mushroom blends and add a small amount to your regular black coffee, which is what I do. It’s a good way to ease into it and see how you get on.

I really wish I experienced that energy boost during fasting, but with ME/CFS and fibromyalgia, it doesn’t quite work that way for me. Still, I’m holding onto faith—may the Lord work a miracle this time and make possible what once felt impossible, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

. I also haven’t really ever got to that energy boost levels. Sometimes I will get a bit of energy boost while fasting but then it will disappear so fast.
But nothing is impossible with God.
If that guy can do 74 days fasting, then we can do our fasts too 
And the way he glowing more and more each day, is AMAZING.
Fasting is so powerful 
This is a mushroom blend on amazon UK, it’s a big one but there are smaller options in the same make. You just add to coffee earlier in the day so it doesn’t affect your sleep. If you find anything that will also help with fasting please post it.
I recently discovered him some days ago. Some time later on in the summer I would to go for a 40 days fast but let’s do 10 days first and go up from there. Xx
I also think that from the 10-day fast onwards, we should approach the longer fasts as spiritual fasts—focusing on prayer as well as fasting.
That’s something I’ll be committing to as much as I can. Even on days when I’m bedbound, I’ll continue to pray quietly and stay connected to the One who gives me the strength to keep going.


I once tried 40 days and failed. Maybe after building up I can try again.
