Hey Rixhi! I hope you are doing good so far. Days 1-3 are always the toughest. How long are you going to fast? My goal weight is the same as yours. Right now I am 154 and on day 3 of my fast.
The initial day 1 of my fast I went the whole day then convinced myself at the end of the day that I wanted to wait and start Nov 1 and gave in to breaking my fast. At first, I was completely “happy” with my decision, but after a few hours I felt disappointed, let down by my actions, frustrated, and feeling so so sad. After that I told myself it didn’t matter, I was going to restart. I was going to stop self sabotaging and stop ruining my own success.
NOW, What I have decided for my fast, is that I am doing 21 days no matter what. If I fall off the wagon for any reason, I am going to dust myself off, get right back on the wagon, and finish my journey strong. I may finish my 21 days and be a little bumped, bruised, or scraped up at the end, but I am crossing the finish line no matter what! If you are doing a longer fast, I hope you will adopt a similar mantra and do this with me!
