Nikki’s daily log

Day 1 over.
Started my extended fast today after getting off track over the last week. Had salt water to prevent exhaustion. I have noticed a week before my period I get terrible cravings and really struggle with fasting.
Excited to see what I can accomplish in December!

You can deal with the cravings. They go away…eventually! Know your temptations and keep them away. Good luck

Thank you! I am feeling better now. Learning more and more to ignore the urge to binge.

Day 2: wt 1.6 ibs down
Walked 45 minutes and did some body weight excercises. I ate a lot during thanksgiving and put on close to 5 ibs- atleast 3 ibs were water weight. Can’t wait to get back in fat burning mode.
Energy was good during the day, time to sleep!

Day 3: down 2 ibs. Ketone sticks didn’t turn color till the evening, might be an indication of elevated blood sugar and insulin resistance. Feel good. I am realizing that sticking to a regular schedule is key to success. I have let my self get in a very undisciplined state and it has caused me more pain then the supposed comfort I thought I was attaining by taking it easy. Amazing how focus and attention to certain thoughts of wellness and ignoring thoughts that don’t get us anywhere can completely change your personality and every aspect of your life.

I agree! It’s easy to forget when you get off track, but discipline really is like freedom. The freedom of being in control of you happiness and health!

Day 4 : down 2 ibs. Woke up feeling great but evening I felt terrible. Nauseous, dizzy, out of it. Went and layed down and felt a little better. Was kind of slow all through out the evening. I walked in a rush to my acupuncture apt and that might have been too much exertion. Going to bed early.
Keep fasting!
