Day one is complete and I am fortunate to have had work to keep me busy and not so focused on food habits. I know that once I get through the first few days that my looking to food as reward and distraction will reduce somewhat… right now I’m in my regular mode of thinking about a food break every so often.

I’m super happy to be fasting during the global crisis we are in atm – something in me is preferring clarity over stress eating & that is helping with motivation to continue.
My work will be tapering off here soon as well due to scheduling changes with the pandemic and I fully intend to keep myself focused on the benefits of a clear head going forward.

Day 2 is done and I was mostly keeping busy again today – dragging a bit and grumpy haha -which is to be expected as I’m not fat adapted…yet :slight_smile:
The autopilot snack mode is starting to subside which is really awesome. I expect cravings to come in waves but it is amazing to be out of the daily food routine and looking at food as a way to manage my mood which never works out very well —even when I keep it OMAD, I know its not an optimal way to be.

I was thinking earlier about what I want to do after this and I’m considering a juice or liquid fast. Or I may extend my water goal :slight_smile:

I don’t recommend a juice diet for 2 reasons:

  1. Insulin spike from the fructose because there is no fiber
  2. Calories
